The National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS) took birth as National Tissue Culture Facility in March 11, 1986 with a mandate of basic research, teaching & training, and as a national repository for cell lines/hybridomas etc. The centre is located in the midst of academically enriched environment of University of Pune campus, Pune.

NCCS invites applications for following posts purely on temporary basis on the various extramural projects.

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Research Fellow (on contract) in research project entitled “Design and Innovation Centre” F.No.17-2-2014-PN.1(Vol. II) dated 20-1-2015 sponsored by Ministry of Human Resource Development, GOI, New Delhi. In order to execute these projects successfully, CDRI is looking for Project Staff in various disciplines as per requirement. Director, Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTECH), invites exceptionally motivated candidates to appear for a walk-in interview on June 29, 2016 (Wednesday), (Reporting time 9.00 a.m. to 12 noon) for pursuing doctoral research at IMTECH under the aegis of the Ph.D. degree program being jointly run by IMTECH and the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.  The candidates who have passed M.Sc. and cleared any of the following examination (with valid fellowship) are eligible to attend the interview. Kindly note that those candidates whose M.Sc. result is not declared till the date of the interview, the candidate must bring a certificate from the Head of the Department that he/she has passed M.Sc. without which the candidate will not be eligible for interview:
