    ABSTRACT
A traditional but effective method of developing new targets is lead molecule modification, where an existing popular drug from the market is taken as a lead and similar derivatives are synthesized. With the advent of modern techniques conventional methods have lost their gleam but, reactions are still best understood when performed by the conventional techniques. One such endeavor has been made here where indole has been used as a parent moiety and by adding some functional groups some novel indole derivatives were synthesized and screened for their in vitro antitubercular, and anticancer activity. This synthesis of some fresh indole derivatives was done by using various benzaldehyde derivatives and 2-(o-Aminophenyl)indole in acidic condition then with ammonium acetate and isatin in presence of glacial acetic acid.. The structures of newly synthesized compounds were characterized by IR, 1H NMR, MASS and elemental analysis.Compounds 3h & 3i showed good antitubercular activity and 3d, 3e & 3g showed good anticancer compared to the standard drug.

    ABSTRACT:
Nanoparticle drug-delivery systems are the popular ones as are able to increase the selectivity and stability of therapeutic agents. However reticuloendothelial system (RES) uptake, drug leakage, immunogenicity, hemolytic toxicity, cytotoxicity, hydrophobicity restrict the use of these nanostructures. These shortcomings are overcome by surface engineering the dendrimer such as Polyester dendrimer, Citric acid dendrimer, Arginine dendrimer, Glycodendrimers, PEGylated dendrimers, etc.The field of Dendrimers has recently emerged as the most commercially viable technology of this century because of its wide-ranging potential applications in many fields such as: healthcare, electronics, photonics, biotechnology, engineering products, pharmaceuticals, drug delivery, catalysis, electronic devices, environmental issues and nanotechnologies. Dendrimer as a drug delivery agent is a promising, safe and selective drug delivery option.

    Abstract:
    Object:
To investigate the effect of embelin  on anxiety   was studied  by using standard test such as Elevated zero-maze test and Novelty induced suppressed feeding latency test in a dose dependent manner.
    Material & methods:
This portion include extraction and isolation of embelin, animals were obtained from the animal house IMS, BHU, Varanasi, India, and methods for anxiety were Elevated zero-maze test and Novelty induced suppressed feeding latency test.
    Result & conclusion:
The  anxiolytic  activity was found at 20mg/kg. The observed anxiolytic effect of this compound seems to be regulated through monoaminergic system in the brain and the activity was comparable to diazepam.
