Bharat institute of Technology-Pharmacy (BIT) was established in the year 1999 by the CHMR Educational Society with the noble aim of imparting quality Pharmacy education to students aspiring to become responsible pharmacists and to cater to the needs of pharmacy profession. The college is situated in a sprawling 120 acres of campus situated 24 kms from the heart of the city. The focus of the architecture of the gigantic pharmacy building is to provide the right ambience needed for the overall growth of both the students and faculty.

Sikkim became an integral part of the Indian Union in May, 1975. The Constitutional Provision under Article 315 to have a Public Service Commission for the State was fulfilled by constituting a State Public Service Commission in the year 1978. The Public Commission has actually started functioning from 1982 with the appointment of the Chairman and deputation of the staff from the State Government.

The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is an autonomous body of the Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy), Government of India. It is an apex body in India for the formulation, coordination, development and promotion of research on scientific lines in Ayurveda and Sowa-Rigpa system of medicine.

Yashwantrao Bhonsale College of Pharmacy (YBCP) is the first ever Pharmacy College in Sindhudurg district introducing pinnacle of excellence in pharma education and research. To cater the need of technical & professional education in Konkan region especially in Sindhudurg district, YBCP commenced from June 2015 with a state of art ultra-modern infrastructure offering B. The National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) has been established by Government of India to coordinate with all matters relating to Medicinal Plants and Support Policies and Programs for growth of trade, export, conservation and cultivation. The board is working under Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy (AYUSH). Government of India set up National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) on 24th November 2000. Currently the board is working under the Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha & Homoeopathy), Government of India.

Dattakala College of Pharmacy has been established in 2014.The Dattakala Shikshan Sanstha has about 30 acres campus and is situated at Gat No.541 &527, Swami-Chincholi, Tal-Daund, Dist-Pune. This campus is near Bhigwan town and is connected by road (Pune-Solapur Highway 100 km) and rail (Bhigwan Station 4Km.). Our college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi, Government of Maharashtra / Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai, and is affiliated to Savitribhai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune.
