Applications are invited by the District Health Society, Hazaribagh, under the National Health Mission, Jharkhand, from candidates possessing the requisite qualifications and eligibility for the following posts on a contractual basis (including backlog vacancies): ANM, Staff Nurse, Lab Technician, Block Data Manager, Counselor, Pharmacist, and others.

Contract Terms
1. Candidates will be selected for the above positions on a one-year contract basis. The contract period may be extended by one year each year, as needed, based on the performance evaluation of the selected candidates.
2. The contractual contract of a candidate selected on a contractual basis may be terminated by the District Health Committee, Hazaribagh, without assigning any reason, by providing one month's advance notice or by paying one month's honorarium.
3. Candidates selected on a contractual basis will be paid the honorarium determined by the State Government. Furthermore, they will not be entitled to any benefits/allowances comparable to those provided to permanent employees by the State Government.
4. Candidates selected on a contractual basis will not have any claim for future confirmation of service.
5. The decision taken by the Selection Committee, Hazaribagh, for contractual appointments will be valid and binding on all.

Application Process

Step 2. - Online applications will open on July 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
Step III - The deadline for submitting online applications is July 30, 2026.
Step IV - Applicants must register while filling out the application form. They must enter their basic information, such as name, email address, andStep VI - After registration, the applicant must revisit the website and log in again using the credentials shared via email.
Step VII - The applicant must carefully and completely fill in the personal details available on the dashboard.
Step VIII - Educational details (self-attested) must be submitted in accordance with the eligibility criteria for the post being applied for.
Step IX - The applicant must upload experience certificates (self-attested) as per the eligibility requirements for the posts.
Step X - Self-attested copy of the certificate regarding computer proficiency (as per desired qualifications).
Step XI - Self-attested copies of the residential certificate and caste certificate issued by a competent authority, if claiming reservation.
Step XII - The applicant must submit a passport-sized photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
Step XIII - The applicant must pay the fee for the post being applied for.
Step XIV - After completing all the steps, the candidate must click the 'Submit' button to finalize the application process.
Step XV - After submitting the application, the candidate should retain a printout of the filled-in application for their records.

Age Limit
The maximum age limit for the advertised posts is: Unreserved - 35 years; Backward Class/Extremely Backward Class - 37 years; Women (Unreserved/Backward Class/Extremely Backward Class) - 38 years; Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (Male/Female) - 40 years.

Fee Payment (Online)
All applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee as per the details given below:
General / OBC / EWS: Rs. 300/-
SC / ST / Women (all categories): Rs. 200/-
Candidates are responsible for the online payment of the application/processing fee via QR Code. If the payment is unsuccessful, their application will not be considered by the District Health Society, Hazaribagh.

Selection Process
1. Candidates will be selected based on their academic and technical qualifications, and the total marks obtained in one or more of the written examination, skill test, and interview, as required.
2. Selected candidates will be evaluated on a total of 100 marks, of which 60 marks will be based on the academic and technical qualifications, and the remaining 40 marks will be based on one or more of the written examination, skill test, and interview, as required.
3. The list of eligible and ineligible candidates will be published through the district website.
4. All district-level reservation criteria will be followed in the selection process.
5. Changes to the notified vacancies may be made before the selection process is completed.
6. Candidates will be selected based on the merit list prepared based on the selection process, according to their merit number, for the vacancy. A list of selected candidates will be published based on the merit list. Similarly, a waiting list will be prepared in compliance with the Model Reservation Roster. This will be applicable for the next two years, meaning that candidates can be selected based on this merit list according to the vacancies for the next two years.
7. Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit separate applications, specifying the post code.
8. Candidates who have a CGPA score of ≥ 100 in their academic qualifications must submit the CGPA chart of the relevant institution. Candidates who do not submit a CGPA chart provided by the institution will be required to increase their CGPA by 20%, and those with a CGPA between 0.1 and 0.5 will be required to increase their CGPA by 20%.

3. Publication of the list of eligible/ineligible candidates : 16.08.2026

5. Publication of the final list of eligible candidates : 23.08.2026
6. Date of issuance of admit cards : 24.08.2026 to 26.08.2026
7. Date of examination : 30.08.2026 / 06.09.2026
