Bengal College of Pharmaceutical Science & Research was established in the year 2008 by SKS Educational and Social Trust, having an impressive campus is dedicated to develop and nurture pharmaceutical education and research. Janta college of Pharmacy(JCOP), a venture of Naseeran Memorial Educational Society has been established in 2016 with a vision for excellence in the field of Pharmacy. The Primary motive of Janta college of Pharmacy aims at providing a comprehensive knowledge about Pharmaceutical Science so that students are trained to take up responsibility in pharmaceutical manufacturing, Research, Sales and Marketing.

NATIONAL TESTING AGENCY (NTA) had successfully conducted the GRADUATE PHARMACY APTITUDE TEST - 2019 (GPAT-2019) for admission to various M. pharma or its equivalent courses across the country. The 800 participating institutes of GPAT-2019 were the institutions which had accepted the GPAT Score.

DmbH Institute of Medical Sciences is run by HAJI MAHAMMAD ALI MONDAL EDUCATIONAL & SOCIO WELFARE TRUST, a registered voluntary social action group working for empowerment of all sections of the society. Haji Mahammad Ali Mondal, an outstanding personality with aca administrative excellence, is the Chairman of the College.

Sanjay College of Pharmacy, Mathura established in the year 2007. The Institute offers, full time four-year degree course in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and Two years (D.Pharm). The institute is located in a peaceful & Pollution free environment, which has an attractive building comprising of administrative block, Lecture halls, laboratories, Library, Medicinal garden, Lush green lawns & play grounds.

Higher education in Tripura had a late start. Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) College, the first degree college in the State, started functioning under the University of Calcutta only in 1947. Not that there was no attempt in the past in Princely Tripura to establish any higher educational institution. As early as 1901, Radhakishore Manikya made an attempt to establish a degree college in the-then tiny capital town Agartala; but as the proposal did not fulfill the necessary requirements, it did not get approval from the Calcutta University.

To trace the history of Jadavpur University is to trace a part of India’s freedom movement, at least from the Swadeshi Movement onwards. It was 1905 -1906. Bengal stood divided. The times were feverish. The hegemony of the British establishment had to be challenged. Education had to play a new role in this changed scenario. It had to become a new form of resistance through which the emergent nationalist spirit could be propagated. With this in mind the National Council of Education (NCE) came into being.

The institute has well stocked library, modern laboratories, offering B.Pharmacy and D.Pharmacy courses to contribute more in the area of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research.
