The Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology (Government of India) has established the Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), an autonomous institution, as a part of the inte rdisciplinary Biotech Science Cluster at Faridabad in the National Capital Region. The permanent campus and buildings of THSTI are coming up at Faridabad and will be completed within one year. The Institute is currently functioning from interim facilities in Gurgaon.

The Department of Veterinary Clinical and Animal Sciences, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, is offering a PhD Scholarship to commence on 1 August 2013 or soon thereafter. The post is limited to 3 years.

National AIDS Research Institute [NARI] was established in October 1992 in Bhosari, Pune on a seven acre plot.
