First-class post-graduate degree including integrated PG such as M.Pharm, M.Sc, M.Tech or Equivalent with specialization in Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Neuroscience.

M.Pharm, B.Pharm from a recognized university, Institution

Candidates in the 1st or 2nd year of their Post-Graduation M.V.Sc, M.Tech Biotechnology, M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Zoology or related subjects) OR 4th year of Graduation B.Tech, B.V.Sc from a recognized University are encouraged to apply.

Post Graduate Degree Biotechnology, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology or Graduate, Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship Assistant Professorship and GATE.

Pharmacist Grade I or Sr. Pharmacist with 5 years of regular service in the grade pay of Rs. 4200 OR Retired, contractual Officials under the Central, State, U.T. Governments, Universities, Statutory, Autonomous Bodies or Research and Development Organizations having requisite experience as above. 

Ph.D in Life Sciences, Chemistry or Pharmacy from a recognized university with three years of experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or science and technology organization and scientific activities and services. Desirable: Candidate with experience in natural product research. 

Discovery and development of therapeutic interventions against multi-drug resistant bacterial pathogens. Master degree in Life Sciences and National Eligibility test – CSIR- UGC NET including lectureship Assistant Professorship or GATE or A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. Experience in the mammalian tissue culture work.

Proficiency in data organization, data interpretation, data visualization, data presentation. Good communication, analytical and management skills. The candidate is expected to co-ordinate the project related research activities with a network of collaborating laboratories and organize meetings.

B.Sc, BS degree in any branch of life science, BTech in Chemical, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology. Two years of relevant experience is required. Time spent in Masters degree may be considered as relevant experience. Some knowledge in research projects involving computer programming is desirable.
