Karnataka State AIDS Prevention Society (KSAPS) was registered as society on 9th December 1997; it is an autonomous institution and a highest policy-making structure regarding HIV/AIDS in Karnataka, headed by Chief Minister. The chairman of Executive Committee is Principal Secretary/Secretary to Government Health & Family Welfare Department.
