Vivekananda College of Pharmacy was established in 1983 under the Janatha Education Society (Regd.), Bengaluru, with the objective of providing quality education to the next generation pharmacists. Vivekananda College of Pharmacy is recognized by the Government of Karnataka and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy council of India (PCI), New Delhi. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. Situated in the heart of Bangalore city at a distance of about 5 km from Bangalore Railway Station and Bus Stand, the college is well connected by public transport.
