This project will involve cloning, expression and purification of recombinant proteins and their biophysical characterization. Cell culture and animal model experiments. Synthesis and characterization of small molecules.

First class post-graduate degree M.Tech, M.E including the integrated PG degree in Biotechnology, Microbial Biotechnology, Genetic Engineering, Microbiology, Pharmacy or related disciplines. M.Sc. candidates without valid NET, GATE need not apply.

All the full-time Ph.D. students admitted into the Ph.D. program will receive fellowship up to a maximum of five years. The fellowship could be from the Institute or Sponsored Projects. Ph.D. students may also have their own fellowship if qualified through UGC/CSIR NET.

First class in M.PHARM or M.S in Pharmaceutics, drug delivery, Pharmacology, Pharm-Biotechnology, Nanomedicines, or equivalent from a recognized University. As per BITS RMIT PHD program eligibility.

Certification in clinical research analysis is advantageous but not mandatory. Willingness to learn regulatory compliance is a must. Candidate with evidenced experience in clinical trial, relevant data analysis, data management and clinical statistical analyses will have additional weightage in selection.

Development of antibiotic nano formulation for the prevention and treatment of udder infection in dairy animals. First class in M.Pharm with specialization in Pharmaceutics, Drug Delivery Technology, Pharmaceutical Technology or equivalent from a recognized University. GPAT. GATE. NET qualified.

Adult stem cell derived exosomes, A cell-free therapy for glaucoma. Experience in animal models for evaluating preclinical safety, pharmacokinetics and efficacy will be preferable. Candidates with GPAT or equivalent exams will be given a preference. Candidate must be interested in learning new concepts, tools, and techniques. 

The candidate will carry out the proposed work of the project. He, She will validate the in-vitro and in-vivo DKD model and conduct molecular biology experiments and data analysis. Well-versed in animal handling, in-vitro work, molecular biology techniques, and pharmacology work. He, she will also write the research papers in indexed journals, conferences, and patents.
