Post: Pharmacist

During British rule GUMLA was under LOHARDAGA district. In 1843 it was brought under BISHUNPUR province that was further named RANCHI. In fact Ranchi district came into existence in 1899. In 1902 Gumla became Sub-division under Ranchi district. Blessed with natures beauty, the district of Gumla is covered by dense forests, hills and rivers. It is situated in the southwest portion of the Jharkhand State. The District was carved out of Ranchi District on 18th May 1983.

The Cantonment Board St.Thomas Mount cum Pallavaram established in the year 1774, is the second oldest Cantonment in the country. It is located 18kms away from the Central Railway Station. The total area of Cantonment is 3192.53 acres. It is basically divided in to three locations namely St.Thomas Mount, Meenambakkam andPallavaram.

The Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS), Chennai, an Autonomous Body under the Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India proposes to engage the services of Senior Research Fellow [1 each -Chemistry / Botany (Pharmacognosy)]. The engagement will be purely on contract basis. The selection will be made on the basis of Written Test followed by Walk-in-Interview to be held on Saturday, the 10^th October, 2014 at 10.00 a.m. in the Pharmacopoeial Laboratory for Indian Medicine (PLIM), Kamla Nehru Nagar, OPP. M-Block, Sector-23, Ghaziabad-201002.

A Walk in interview will be held for filling up the following vacant posts on contractual & fixed pay basis under the state health & family welfare society, NHM, Tripura. The engagement will be for 11(eleven) months or till discountinuation of the project period whichever is earlier, which may be extend based on the performance.

The Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute (VPCI) is a unique postgraduate medical institution devoted to the study of chest diseases. It is a University of Delhi maintained institution and is funded entirely by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The institute is ideally located in the heart of the main campus of the University of Delhi, providing the requisite academic environment. The Institute fulfills the national need for providing relief to large number of patients in the community suffering from chest diseases. It has eminently discharged its role and has earned a unique place in the field of Chest Medicine.The main objectives of VPCI have been to conduct research on basic and clinical aspects of chest medicine, to train post graduates in Pulmonary Medicine and allied subjects, to develop new diagnostic technology and disseminate scientific knowledge related to Chest Medicine to other institutions in the country and to provide specialized clinical and investigative services to patients.
