Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Jadavpur University is organizing a one day national seminar on "Pharmacy & Healthcare: Traditional Knowledge To Modern Techniques” on 14th of September, 2018 at Dr. Triguna Sen Auditorium, Jadavpur University, Kolkata 700032. Jadavpur University, a top ranking university in India has already known for imparting quality education and high level of potential research, and the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology has been continuously assisting the university through its teaching and research for its journey towards excellence. In this direction, Advanced Pharmacognosy Research Laboratory is noteworthy to mention. Other than its usual activities, the laboratory is now going to organize a national seminar on Pharmacy & Healthcare: Traditional Knowledge To Modem Techniques. The national seminar brings together researchers from different universities, institutes and industries and gives them a platform to share their research work. The aim of the seminar is to provide a fortune to showcase the cutting edge research in the field of pharmacy and healthcare. We invite research/review work for paper/poster from faculties, research scholars and industry participants.

The ISPOR India - Andhra Pradesh Chapter was approved in June 14, 2012, established under the leadership of Dr. Y. Padmanabha Reddy (President – ISPOR India AP Chapter) comprising of 274 members. The Chapter focuses on developing a new approach of Pharmacy practice education from a regular curriculum wise teaching to an actual healthcare orientation / health outcome based training to maintain and improve patient’s quality of life and adhere to rationality use of medications. The chapter has organized one international conference and six national conferences within a span of 4 years which is well appreciated by all professional bodies of Pharmacy profession and ISPOR. The branch adages constant and novel contribution towards the evidence based learning, teaching, practice and research in pharmacy profession with global standards.

Innopharm is an effort to bring transitions in medical, pharmaceutical and biosciences at a common platform. We are glad to share tremendous success attained in Innopharml (Oct- 2015, 1st International Conference on Novel Frontiers in Pharmaceutical & Health Sciences) which attracted participation of 339+ participants, 40+ scientists, 20+ speakers, 25+ resource persons from 12+ countries and 18+ states of our own country and that of lnnopharm2 (Feb 2017, 2nd International Conference on Bridging Innovations in Pharmaceutical, Medical and Bio Sciences) which witnessed participation of 354+ participants, 42+ scientists, 25+ speakers, 30+ resource persons from 14+ countries and 22+ states of our own country.
