About the University
"The university is dedicated to perform in unique manner to achieve the academic excellence in creative way hy using the innovative ideas to produce competent human resources & to act as center for Amicable Knowledge Solution" AKS [Amicable Knowledge Solutions] University was established in 2011 and located in the rural area of District Satna, spread over 70 acres of the land with beautiful landscape of ornament plants. The AKS University is focused on emerging as a leading institute of knowledge, research & consultancy in a number of faculties, namely Pharmaceutical Science & Technology, Engineering & Technology, Computer Application & IT and Science, Agriculture Science & Technology, Life Sciences & Biotechnology, Basic Science, Management Studies, Fine Arts and Design, Commerce and Financial Studies, Social Sciences & Humanities. Approximately 10000 students not only from different states of India but from neighboring countries [Nepal] are studying in various disciplines. Majority of them come from rural areas and shine well.

Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, an Institution Declared as Deemed to be University, under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956 is engaged for more than a decade in spreading professional higher education. The Vidyapeeth has seven constituent institutes imparting knowledge in the field of Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Healthcare Management and Paramedical Sciences. It is the First Deemed University of Gujarat state, which was started in year 2007. The Vidyapeeth is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with the CGPA of 3.53 on a Four point scale at "A" grade, in the year 2015. Recently the university is categorised as Category-I Deemed to be university under UGC regulation 2018. Presently, the Vidyapeeth conducts Professional, Career Oriented, Innovative and interdisciplinary programs in the field of Health Science.

"We cannot compare straight away with US or Europe and say that these should be community Pharmacy and they are lagging behind. I would say that Yes! we have to improve our services and role as Pharmacist in the community pharmacy that is more important and for that knowledge is important.

The essay contest is organized with an objective to harness the energy, imagination and creativity of the budding pharmacy professionals in developing an in depth understanding of the pharmaceutical field and exploring new career avenues in the field of pharmaceutical management.

It is needless to say that the image of Pharmacy Profession in India is not up to the mark and there is an urgent need of proper projection of its importance to give message to the Society that "PHARMACIST GIVES LIFE TO MEDICINE". So. to achieve our social status and professional dignity we need a national convention in presence of PCI and the respective State Council Members along with all Pharmacists associations / Pharma activists. Teachers. Researchers. Students. Policy makers and Pharmacy Practitioners across the country to make a new Road map.
