    Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the sponsored research project entitled “Exploring the potential of Spanlastics laden bandage contact lenses: A non-invasive ocular drug delivery system for the treatment of HIV/AIDS related superficial and retinal opportunistic infectious ophthalmic complications” funded by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. Of India, New Delhi, (BT/PR26673/NNT/28/1369/2017) in Department of Pharmaceutics, B. V. Patel PERD Centre, Ahmedabad. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with project

    Project Title:  “Exploring the potential of Spanlastics laden bandage contact lenses: A non-invasive ocular drug delivery system for the treatment of HIV/AIDS related superficial and retinal opportunistic infectious ophthalmic complications”

    Essential Educational Qualifications :
    M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutics/ Pharmaceutical Technology/ Industrial Pharmacy) with at least 55% marks. CSIR-NET (LS)/GATE/ JAM/ GPAT qualified candidates will be preferred.

    Desirable qualifications :
    Candidates having experience in animal handling/ cell culture training/ HPLC analysis would be preferred.

    Age limit : Below 30 years on closing date of advertisement (Age relaxation will be given as per DBT, Govt, of ndia rules)

    Salary : Rs 25,000+ 30% HRA = Rs. 32,500 pm
    (As per DBT norms, only if candidate is CSIR-NET(LS)/GATE/JAM/GPAT qualified). For non- CSIR-NET(LS)/ GATE/ JAM/ GPAT qualified candidates, Fellowship as per institute norms

    The engagement will be initially for a period of one year which may be extended up to three years maximum depending on  the duration of the sponsored project/satisfactory performance or conduct of the appointee
