    The Regional Drugs Testing Laboratory, Chandigarh is the one of the six National Laboratories of the Govt of India functioning under the administrative control of the Drug Controller General (India), Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation, Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. The Laboratory has been established for quality control of Drugs and Cosmetic under the Indian Drugs & Cosmetics Act 1940.     The contractual period may be reduced or extended at the sole discretion of the management (CDSCO-HQ). During the contract period the service can be terminated without any notice or without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
