Brief Description about the Project
The impact of chronic inflammation on long-term iron balance in women of reproductive age with Human Immunodeficiency Virus infection using iron isotope dilution method – A cohort study
This project is an IAEA-supported cohort study designed to understand iron absorption and iron losses in women of reproductive age living with HIV, using advanced iron isotope dilution techniques. Participants will be recruited from a hospital based clinic and followed longitudinally to generate high-quality clinical, nutritional, and laboratory data.
