Centre of Bio-Medical Research is committed to build a world class research institute dedicated to disease-oriented-research and to translate discoveries and observations of the laboratory into new diagnosis and therapies for the benefit of humanity.

Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL) is a public limited company, initiated by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India and set up by All India Financial Institutions. Technology Transfer Office (TTO) at BCIL has been set up by DBT-BIRAC with the mandate to provide services to all the DBT autonomous institutes.

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up of the following post on contract basis for the SERB funded project entitled “Neurosteroids and Mood Disorders: Investigating the Role of Glucocorticoid System in Modulating the Effects of Finasteride" - under the guidance of Dr. BN Srikumar, Additional Professor, Department of Neurophysiology & Principal Investigator and Dr. BS Shankaranarayana Rao, Professor of Neurophysiology & Co-Principal Investigator.

IICB Institute was established in 1935 as the first non official centre in India for biomedical research and was included within the aegis of CSIR in 1956. IICB today is engaged in research on diseases of national importance and biological problems of global interest, employing sophisticated state-of-the-art technology in keeping with the rapid and unprecedented momentum that life science research has gained globally over the last 50 years.

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) can trace its origins to the Ecole de Medicine de Pondicherry established by the French Government in 1823. In 1956 foundation for new medical college was laid and in 1964, hospital was inaugurated. JIPMER became an institution of national importance under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India in the year 2008. It is an institution established for teaching, research and patient care in the area of health. JIPMER spreads over 192 acres.

Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali (Punjab), an autonomous institution of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, has been established under the umbrella of NANO MISSION, initiated by DST to boost research and development in the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in India. INST started its activities on 3rd January 2013 from its transit campus at Mohali, Punjab.

NIAB is an autonomous and premier institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. The Institute aims to develop and harness novel and emerging biotechnological tools and applications, and take up research in cutting-edge areas for improving animal health and productivity as well as contribute to human health and welfare.
