Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer, ACTREC, is a unique Institute under the wing of Tata Memorial Centre and a grant-in-aid Institution of the Department of Atomic Energy. ACTREC conducts a PhD program in Life Sciences that is affiliated with the Homi Bhabha National Institute (a deemed university under category A by MHRD, Govt. of India). Fulfilling its ‘bench-to- bedside’ mandate, the Institute provides a highly conducive environment for world-class cancer research.

The AIIMS, New Delhi model will be adopted and adapted. Unlike the Postgraduate Institutes which lack the basic departments like Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, General Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology etc, the new AIIMS will have these departments as well as the superspecialty departments like neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, urology, endocrinology etc.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the temporary post of Research Associate-I, in an ICMR funded project.

The National Institute of Immunohaematology is one of the premiere research Institutes of the ICMR, located currently in the premises of the KEM hospital, Parel, Mumbai. Regional Medical Research Centre, NE, Dibrugarh is one of the 26 permanent institutes of Indian Council of Medical Research. The Centre was established on 12th day of July in the year 1982. Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali (Punjab), an autonomous institution of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, has been established under the umbrella of NANO MISSION, initiated by DST to boost research and development in the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in India. INST started its activities on 3rd January 2013 from its transit campus at Mohali, Punjab.

The facility is affiliated with National Institute of Plant Genome Research, New Delhi (NIPGR) and serve to facilitate genotyping services with private service providers and then advanced these, in a focused way, to meet the goal of food and nutritional security through genomics led breeding. The fundamental principle is relatively simple create and charter an entity with express purpose of serving crop or plant varietal genotyping and characterization in India. It will also help to overcome legal hurdles in Material Transfer, IPR protection, etc.

During that time with the help and support of Dr. B.C. Roy an eminet physician and then chief minister of West Bengal, the foundation of the present day Chittaranjan Cancer Hospital (CCH) was laid.The hospital was formally inaugurated by Prof.
