SBS College of Pharmacy, Patti was established as a diploma level professional institute in 1986 for undertaking diploma courses. Further it established its degree level programme in Pharmacy in 2001.

Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU) is a Private University under University Grant Commission (U.G.C.) Act, 1956 having been set up under Swami Vivekanand Subharti Vishwavidhaylaya, Uttar Pradesh Adhiniyam, 2008 (U.P. Act No.29 of 2008) as passed by Uttar Pradesh Legislature and and assented by the H.E. Governer of Uttar Pradesh in September 2008.

The Swami Ramananda Tirtha Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nalgonda popularly known as SRTIPS is one of the Pharmacy College in Nalgonda established in the year 2007 to provide Quality education for the students of Nalgonda District. In a very short span of time the institute has become one of the premier institutes in and around the Andhra Pradesh. The institute is currently offering B.Pharmacy under graduate programme with an intake of 60 students per year and 6 students under the Lateral Entry Programme. And very soon the Institute is planning to start a Post Graduate programme in pharmacy.
