The candidate is expected to perform cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry experiments etc. e.g. cell culture, flow cytometry, immunofluorece imaging, western blotting. RT-PCR experiments annotate and analyse data.
Candidates having M.Sc. or an equivalent qualification in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics or allied Life Science subjects with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade point are eligible to apply.

Candidates having prior experience in plant-soil- microbial interactions, soil microbiology and microbiome analysis metagenomics, microbial screening, cultivation, characterization and enrichment studies, pathway/mechanisms analysis, microbial consortia development, state-of-the art molecular biology techniques, and detection of xenobiotics and secondary metabolites, LC-MS, GC- MS are encouraged to apply.
M.Sc, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Zoology, Botany from a recognized university or M.Sc. in life Sciences, Zoology, Botany, Marine Sciences, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences from a recognized university or equivalent.
M.Sc in Life Sciences, Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent AND selected through a process described through anyone of the following National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship Assistant Professorship and GATE.
Post graduate degree in Life Science. OR Graduate, Post Graduate Degree In professional course e.g., M.Sc. Pharmacology, M.Pharm, MBBS,BDS selected through a process described through any one of the following Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test- CSIR-USG, NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE, GPAT.
Masters Degree in Biochemistry with Bachelor Degree in Chemistry OR M.Pharma with specialization in Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy. Experience in Chemistry related analytical techniques and knowledge of basic Computer operation.
