Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, comprising of Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune, was accorded the status of University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, vide Notification No. F.9-39/2001-U.3 dated 11th January 2003 of the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Secondary & Higher Education, New Delhi, and (ii) Notification No.F6-9/2003 (CPP-I) dated 24/01/2003 by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi.

Regional Plant Resource Centre was established in 1985 as a recreational garden and with an aim to provide a green lung for the inhabitants of Bhubaneswar – the capital city of Orissa. Gradually it became a dynamic and vibrant research organization of the State Government with a focus on the conservation of plant biodiversity. Over the year, it has made significant contributions in the field of ex situ and in situ conservation and assessment of genetic diversity of various groups of plants and its related aspects. With strengthening of scientific manpower and laboratory facilities, it expanded its areas of research which witnessed large outputs in terms of analysis of genetic assessment of plant groups through cyto-taxonomic and molecular techniques.

The Department of Pharmacy at Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology  was  established in the year 2004. The aim to provide quality education, in an environment which facilitates overall personality development of the students. The focus is to develop technically qualified citizens with values of honesty, integrity, truth and service and thus contribute significantly to society as Pharmacy focuses on development of Health care. The college is a study center of UP Technical University, Lucknow for M.Pharm since 2004. Twenty students are enrolled in the M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) program.

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established under an Act passed by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in July, 1998. The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai is the new state-of-the-art R&D satellite of the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), which also includes under its umbrella the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), the largest cancer hospital in Asia. ACTREC has the mandate to function as a national centre for treatment, research and education in cancer. TMC is an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act (1860) and the Bombay Public Trust Act (1950). Its Governing Council is headed by the Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission, Government of India.

Training Program Selected trainees will have to work under the supervision of IIIM Scientist/Technical Officer who will mentor him/her during their stay at IIIM, Jammu. Each student is supposed to work on project under the guidance of the Supervisor. On completion of the program, trainee will have to submit a 'Project Report' of the work done. Trainees shall have no claim on the publications and IPR arising out of their work at IIIM, Jammu.

National Research Centre on Equines is a premier institute established under the aegis of Indian Council of Agricultural Research for conducting research on equine health and production.
The importance of equines in India is well known. India possesses 1.16 million equines. Major population of equidae comprising donkeys, mules and ponies that provide livelihood to the rural societies living in arid, semi-arid and hilly regions, specially in the foot hills of Himalayas, through transport and draught where as remaining small population of equines is used in army, police, border security force, racing industry and sports.
