Kusum Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. was founded in 1997, as a 100 % export-oriented unit, with its headquarters in New Delhi.The company's first formulation plant was started in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan in 2007. Another formulation plant is expected to come up shortly in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Kusum Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. is part of Kusum group of companies which is fully integrated, young pharmaceutical group on fast track having two manufacturing units; one of them is Kusum Healthcare at Bhiwadi Rajasthan India and the second is Kusum Pharm at Sumy Ukraine. Both these manufacturing units are WHO GMPcertified and PIC/s compliant.

Raghu College of Pharmacy is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. In 2014, a Core Committee was constituted under the Chairmanship of Dr. VM Katoch by the Indian Health Ministry to revise National List of Essential Medicines (NLEM), 2011. In the process of revision of NLEM, several consultations were held across the country with experts from different domains.

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an 'Institute of National Importance'. It is an autonomous body set up under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. The Institute is conceived to provide leadership in pharmaceutical sciences and related areas not only within the country, but also to the countries in South East Asia, South Asia and Africa. NIPER is a member of Association of Indian Universities and Association of Commonwealth Universities.
