    NIPER Joint Entrance Examination for Masters & Ph.D. Program 2016

    Indian pharmaceutical industry is one of the fastest growing industrial sectors and is playing a key role in the supply of affordable and quality medicines. Recognizing the need for further strengthening of this sector, Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt, of India, established National Institutes of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPERs) as centres of Excellence for imparting higher education and carrying out cutting edge research in pharmaceutical sciences.

    Recruitment for Junior Research Fellow, Project Assistant at NIPER

    National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an 'Institute of National Importance'. It is an autonomous body set up under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. The Institute is conceived to provide leadership in pharmaceutical sciences and related areas not only within the country, but also to the countries in South East Asia, South Asia and Africa. NIPER is a member of Association of Indian Universities and Association of Commonwealth Universities.

    Applications are invited for following two project positions. projects for a period of one year (extendable upto three years maximum or the completion of project, whichever is earlier) sponsored by DBT, GOI (GP-411) and DIHAR, DRDO (GP-409).

  • The Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers Shri Ananth Kumar has announced the setting up of National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) in Jhalawar, Rajasthan. Speaking at the Resurgent Rajasthan function in Jaipur today, he said that the Government will invest Rs 500 crore in this international level institute which will come up in two years.
