About the University
Career Point University is spread over 26 acres, surrounded with lower Himalayas at Hamirpur district in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It was established in 2012 by the Himachal Pradesh Government under “Career Point Act". It is UGC approved government recognized University with the right to confer degree as per the section 2(f) & section 22(1) of the UGC Act, 1956. Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) can trace its origins to the ‘Ecole de Medicine de Pondicherry’ established by the French Government in 1823. In 1956 foundation for new medical college was laid and in 1964, hospital was inaugurated. JIPMER became an institution of national importance under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India in the year 2008. It is an institution established for teaching, research and patient care in the area of health. JIPMER spreads over 192 acres.

NIPER-Guwahati is the fifth such Institute to be included in the list of premier Institutes under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India. The NIPER-Guwahati started functioning from the month of September, 2008. The Institute is presently located at its permanent campus at Changsari-781101, Dist. Kamrup, Assam. The Institute has excellent facilities for advanced Education and Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Presently the Institute is offering M.S (Pharm.) and Ph. D. The CSIR - Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT) is one of the oldest National Laboratories under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). Optimus expanded into global markets and started filing DMFs for both APIs and Intermediates with various Regulatory agencies. Optimus Research Center for API & Formulations was set-up as a centralized Research and Development center to focus on Generic product developments suitable for regulated markets.
