Research Associate

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the post of Research Associate to work on various NDDS level drug delivery systems for clinical applications in the IPCA foundation industrial project sanctioned to undersigned. M. Pharm, M.S. Pharmaceutics , Industrial Pharmacy or any other equivalent discipline.

PhD in Biotechnology, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Life Sciences or any other related field. Experience in molecular biology, recombinant DNA, protein chemistry. Handling of mammalian cell lines and cell culture techniques. Candidates with experience in live cell and confocal microscopy, proteomics, malaria parasite cultures are also encouraged to apply. 

Analytical support for formulation development department in terms of analyzing in-process, finished products for drug release profiling, assay, content uniformity, blend uniformity, related substances, water content and other analysis

Masters degree in any branch of Life Sciences. The incumbent should have knowledge and experience in bacterial cell culture, molecular techniques, gel electrophoresis, Western blotting and PCR/ qPCR, proteomics/ metabolomics experimentation and data analysis and/or gene inhibition/ overexpression assays. 

The applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree in Life Science, Biotehnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bio-medical engineering, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and other related arrears. The applicants who have already submitted the Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply. Integrated Magneto-Acousto-Dielectrophoresis based Microfluidics for the sorting of Bovine Spermatozoa 

The incumbent should be aware of the product development flow from the conceptualization to tech transfer. The incumbent is responsible for R&D trials batch making for various personal care, personal hygiene products like.

M.Pharm / Ph.D in Pharmaceutics studied in Top Colleges; Test license application. Preparation of costing formula. Execution of Bio batches. Raw materials and Packing materials procurement. Pre-formulation studies. Master formula record and specification reviews. Formulation development and scale up. Stability Studies.

Hands on experience in physicochemical characterization, solid state characterization, polymorph screening and salt screening techniques. Hands on experience in using and interpreting data from techniques like DSC,PXRD,TGA,DVS, Hot Stage Microscopy, FTIR, NMR, HPLC, LCMS etc.

PhD Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Physics, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences Degree Awarded, MD, MS,MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc, M.Pharm, ME, M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed journal.
