Established in 1984, the Institute of Microbial Technology is one among the chain of 37 national laboratories, 6 units and 39 outreach centres of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. Set-up to be a fore-runner in the niche domain of microbial biotechnology, the Institute in its initial years functioned from a start-up laboratory that provided a truly world-class R&D ambience in an area of over 10,000 sq. ft. to its researchers.

Project Titled : “Phenome India-CSIR health cohort knowledge base” Project Code: HCP-0047
Essential Qualification : Ph.D/ MD/ MS/ MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharma/ ME/ M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
Desirable : Candidate is expected to have advanced level coding skills in R or Python. Demonstrated experience in Machine Learning and RNAseq data analysis. Knowledge of protein structures and networks and genome mining are added advantage.
Monthly Emoluments : Rs. 58,000/- +HRA
