The National Institute of Biomedical Genomics (NIBMG)  is an Autonomous Institute of  the Government of  India , under  the aegis of  the Department of Biotechnology. This is  the first institution in India explicitly devoted to  research, training, translation & service and capacity - building in biomedical genomics.

Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha was the visionary who conceptulised the Indian Nuclear Programme and along with a handful of Scientists initiated the nuclear science research in India in March, 1944. He envisaged the vast potential of nuclear energy and its possible successful utilization in the field of power generation and allied areas. Dr. Bhabha started working with the goal of achieving self reliance in the fields of nuclear science and engineering and today’s Department of Atomic Energy which is a consortium of different and diversified fields of science and engineering is the final outcome of the farsighted planning of Dr. Bhabha.

Hills cover major part of Uttarakhand State. About 65% of the total geographical area is under forest. For myriad reasons, agriculture in hill region of the State has been at subsistence level. However, horticulture and forestry are the two major sectors that hold enormous potential for sustainable growth. With a view to develop these sectors through scientific interventions, the State Government has established Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry (UUHF) by an Act of State Legislative Assembly.

Siddha system of Medicine, Govt. of India, by  bifurcating the erstwhile CCRAS, formed CCRS (Central Council for Research in Siddha) with its headquarters in Chennai and six Research Institutes/Units in four states namely, Tamil Nadu (Chennai, Mettur & Palayamkottai), Puducherry (Puducherry), New Delhi and Kerala (Thiruvananthapuram). Siddha is a science of holistic health emphasising both drug and diet for human health care.

Walk in interview for various posts required in IMR research projects will be held in the above address as per details given below. Relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per GOI Rules. The engagement will be purely on contract basis and no claim for continuation or regular appointment will be entertained. Applicant should bring their original certificates. The National Institute of Immunology (NII) is committed to advanced research addressing the basic mechanisms involved in body's defence to identify modalities for manipulation of the immune system to provide protection against diseases and understand mechanisms that can be used to target disease processes for intervention.

April 21, 2006 for promoting livestock production, health and prevention of the disease(s) through integrated teaching, research and extension programme(s).
