The acquisition includes two modern manufacturing facilities located in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, and Noida, Uttar Pradesh, along with a leased warehouse facility in Noida. The expansion strengthens Akums' manufacturing capabilities across skincare, hair care, nutraceuticals, wellness products, and color cosmetics.
The newly acquired facilities are equipped to manufacture a broad range of products, including anti-ageing creams, moisturisers, cleansers, body lotions, exfoliators, serums, face washes, shampoos, conditioners, lipsticks, foundations, mascaras, eyeliners, primers, and other cosmetic formulations. They also support the production of nutri-cosmetic products designed for skin health and beauty wellness.
According to the company, the facilities feature advanced European manufacturing technologies and are Halal-certified, enabling Akums to provide globally compliant and scalable manufacturing solutions for both Indian and international brands.
With this acquisition, Akums further diversifies its contract manufacturing ecosystem, which now spans pharmaceuticals, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), nutraceuticals, skincare, hair care, wellness products, and color cosmetics. The company aims to provide integrated end-to-end manufacturing solutions for consumer healthcare and personal care brands.
The move represents a strategic milestone in Akums' long-term growth strategy, strengthening its position as one of India's most diversified contract manufacturers and supporting the country's emergence as a global hub for innovation-driven pharmaceutical and personal care manufacturing.
