Eminence Business Media supports the cause of “Women Empowerment” by organizing a non-profitable event Remarkable Women Camaraderie 2018 on 12th October at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai.

Eminence Business Media supported the cause of Women Empowerment and organized a non-profitable event “Remarkable Women Camaraderie 2018” and it was an outstanding success with a great line up of leading eminent women leaders, all of who believed that empowered women lead to empowered nation. The event was attended by over 50+ women attending the event and JAMM’s, Richfeel Health & Beauty and O2 Spa supporting the cause and creating a platform to empower women & celebrating their achievements.

The event ensured continuous engagement of the audience & speakers through various discussions with regards to the law enforcement, women empowerment, the role of women in contemporary society, women in leadership and how do great women lead.
The event saw many sessions & a panel discussion over the day, attended by CEO’s, MD’s, Sr. Vice Presidents, Directors, Managers from different companies of various industries.

The event was inaugurated by lighting the ceremonial lamp by Ms. Kinjal Pande, Chief Commercial Officer, DAMCO; Ms. Guneet Kaur Hayer, Managing Director, Eminence Business Media LLP; Adv. Mahua Roychoudhary, Partner, Royzz & Co.; Dr. Varada Bapat, Associate Vice President, Wockhardt; Ms. Aparna Mulukutla, Founder, SLAN Sports & Dr. Tejal Choksi, Vice President, Glenmark.

The event Chairperson, Ms. Guneet Kaur Hayer, Managing Director, Eminence Business Media LLP kickstarted the day with her opening remarks in presence of various eminent women leaders and personalities from different industry verticals.  She was of the belief that the empowered women can lead to an empowered nation. She also mentioned that some people confuse working women with women empowerment, which is not the case. She thanked everyone for sharing their success stories and mentioned that this event is not only about empowering others but also to celebrate the success of all the women present in the event. Ms. Guneet mentioned that this event is a stepping stone towards women empowerment and Eminence Business Media will not only limit this to a conference but will also make it large soon by supporting women education and spread awareness.

The event also comprised of many remarkable women sharing their views on women empowerment. This included sessions by Dr. Tejal Choksi, Vice President, Glenmark on Women in Leadership: How great women lead; Ms. Aparna Mulukutla, CEO & Co Founder, SLAN Sports on Rocking the Cradle to Ruling the World & Adv. Mahua Roychoudhary, Managing Partner, Royzz & Co. on Law Enforcements & Women Empowerment. The event also witnessed an insightful panel discussion on “Planet 50-50: A distant dream or a myth” and the panel members included Ms. Geeta Jagasia, Director, Cipla Ltd; Dr. Varada Bapat, Associate Vice President, Wockhardt Ltd; Ms. Aditi Chaurasia, CMD, Engineer Babu; Ms. Kinjal Pande, Chief Commercial Officer, DAMCO; Dr. Archana Badhwar, Associate Director, Cipla Ltd & Ms. Ritu Gorai, Partner, JAMM’s & multi time award winning social worker. The panel was moderated by Ms. Nithya Balasubramanian, Vice President, Cipla Ltd.

The event witnessed some amazing interactions on what the role of women in the contemporary society is, how do women lead under extreme diversity, the working women: then and now, the efficient role reversal in home and workplace, the effect of family systems, change and the traditions, revolutionised women and the changing mind set of the society towards working women, the roles, rights & responsibilities of women, the laws in place in the corporate sector, when can the women exercise the power of their rights, Gender Equality, are menstruation and maternity leaves a hurdle to success, the right to women education still not treated a necessity and gender biasedness in leadership role opportunities.

Advocate Mahua Roychoudhary appreciated the fact that Eminence Business Media rose above the commercial reasons in doing such a remarkable event and commented on the efforts of Ms. Guneet Kaur Hayer in carrying out this cause instead of pretending that they think about women and they are doing something for them.
The event ended with the closing remarks by Ms. Guneet Kaur Hayer & networking over a power breakfast.
