The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), under Ministry of AYUSH, is an ensemble of 30 tangential institutes. CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, a premier Institute under Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), is involved in multidisciplinary R&D programs of both basic and applied nature. Abryl Laboratories was incorporated in 2016 with a single mission—to provide the global market with high quality sterile liquid and lyophilised products. Over the course of time, Abryl has expanded its operations to pre-filled syringes as well.  The project was conceptualised in 2016, followed by the construction commencement in 2017.
