The recruitment process with reference to the recruitment notice no. DDT000058, dated 02-03-2017 and subsequent notice no. DDT000070. dated 14-3-2017 issued in the Institute’s website (wwwpoimeredu.m) and various notice boards for filling up the 1 posts of Pharmacist is hereby cancelled and fresh applications from the eligible candidates are invited for filling up 1 post of Pharmacist.

The eligible applcants who have already submitted their application vide recruitment notice no. DDT000058. issued on dated 2-3-2017, need not to re-submit the application The detail of post and eligibility / criteria for filling up the said post of Pharmacist is given as under:

The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage. The institute started in 1962 and Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru inaugurated the hospital now named “Nehru Hospital” on 7th July 1963. The Institute was originally under the Government of undivided Punjab. After the reorganization of the state, the administrative control of the institute passed on to the Union Territory of Chandigarh in November 1966.

CSIR will hold the Joint CSIR-UGC Test Tentatively on Sunday 18th June, 2017 for determining the eligibility of the Indian National candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET and for determining eligibility for appointment of Lecturers (NET) in certain subject areas falling under the faculty of Science & Technology. The award of Junior Research Fellowship (NET) to the successful eligible candidates will depend on their finding admission/placement in a university/ national laboratory/ institution of higher learning and research, as applicable.

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences.

Applications are invited for one position of Manager/Coordinator (purely temporary) for Cluster Innovation Centre in Biotechnology (CIC-B) at Panjab University, Chandigarh. The CIC-B is sponsored by Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), Govt. of India.

The duration of the project is initially for four years. (2014-2018).The candidates will be appointed initially for a period of one year and extended on the basis of yearly evaluation. The posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
