The Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) is a welfare scheme introduced by Govt.of India under Ministry of Health and Family welfare initially in Delhi on 1st July 1954. Anjanaben Ashokbhai Shah and an eminent philanthropist Shri Gordhanbhai Hathibhai Patel. At present the institute imparts education in Diploma, Graduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral level studies and conducts research in emerging/ thrust areas of Pharmacy. The college has been housed in a three storey building. Currently, the institute functions with a total intake of204 in eight different courses.
