Post : Project Research Scientist-II

Project Title : Identification of potentially aggressive CTCs (Circulating Tumour Cells) using single cell multiomics: Implications for prognostication and therapeutic target identification in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma patients” 

Project Description : In this project, multiomic analysis of potentially aggressive circulating tumour cells (OSCC) at the single-cell level will be undertaken to provide insights into the heterogeneity of CTCs and help identify aggressive subpopulations of CTCs. Ultimately, the signatures of aggressive CTCs will be used to develop a prognostic panel for the prediction of oral cancer patients at higher risk of disease recurrence.

Consolidated Remuneration [INR] per month : 67,000 + 10% HRA

Essential Qualifications : 1. First Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees, with three years’ post qualification Experience or PhD. 2. For Engineering /IT/CS-Graduate degree of Four Years with three years’ post qualification experience.

Desirable Qualifications : 1. Demonstrated experience in single cell transcriptomics, cancer genomics , human disease genomics 2. Publicati on in at least one peer reviewed journal

Nature of Duty : Conduct single cell transcriptomic and ATAC- Seq experiments and data analysis, cell culture and other related work.


1. This position is contractual, and appointments will be initially for one year, which is extendable depending upon performance and requirements of the project.
