Job for M.Pharm, M.Sc as Senior Research Fellow at JSS College of Pharmacy

JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty was established in 1980 with a view to provide job oriented professional courses in Pharmacy, The College and the JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER), formerly known as JSS University are accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with `A+` Grade.

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates to work as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in DST-Nano-mission, Govt. of India sponsored project at Department of Pharmacology, JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty.

Post : Senior Research Fellow (SRF)-01

Title of the project: Adipocyte specific delivery of oral thiazolidinedione nanoparticles functionalized with RGD and P3 peptides to reduce side effects and improve efficacy.

Salary: 28,000+ 10% HRA

Essential Qualification: M.Pharm / M.S. (Pharm.) in Pharmacology / Pharmaceutics or M.Sc/M.Phill. Nanoscience & Technology with GATE/GPAT/CSIR-NET or equivalent examination will be preferred.

Duration of the Project: 3 Years, post is temporary and co-terminus with project.

Requirements:
Candidates with experience preparation, purification, and characterization of nanoparticles and macromolecule conjugates. The candidate is expected to design and implement strategies for the development of targeted nanoparticles or macromolecules. The candidate is also expected to prepare targeting peptides for conjugation to nanoparticles and develop purification and analytical methods to characterize targeting ligand-conjugated nanoparticles/macromolecules.
