National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Raebareli (NIPER-R) is an Autonomous Institute of “National Importance” set up by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, under the aegis of the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India by an “Act of Parliament”, to impart high-quality Education & Research in the area of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The Institute intends to fill the following post on a Purely – Contractual Basis for its Medical Devices program.
Assistant Professor (Contractual) - (Two posts)
Consolidated Pay : For candidates with M.Tech & 1 year of relevant experience- Honorarium of Rs. 70,000 per month without any other benefits)
For candidates with Ph.D & less than 1 year of relevant experience- Honorarium of Rs. 75,000 per month without any other benefits) For candidates with Ph.D & 1 year of relevant experience- Honorarium of Rs. 80,000 per month without any other benefits)
Essential & Desirable Qualifications and Experience : Essential : M.Tech. in Biomedical Engineering / Medical Devices / Bioelectronics / ECE / EEE / EIE / Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineering / Life Science / Pharmaceutical Science with a consistently good academic record. Experience : M.Tech with relevant teaching/research/industry experience in the medical devices domain/ Ph.D in relevant domain of medical devices.
Desirable : Proven experience in one or more of the following areas :
• Design and development of diagnostic/therapeutic devices
• IoT and AI/ML applications in healthcare
• Microfluidics, Lab-on-a-chip, and biosensors
• Materials for implants and biomedical engineering
• Medical device regulations and quality assurance
• Point-of-care and in vitro diagnostic (IVD) technologies
• 3D printing and rapid prototyping of medical devices
Max. Age : 40 Years
Teaching – cum – Research Assistants (Contractual) (Two posts)
Consolidated Pay : Consolidated honorarium of Rs. 35,000/- per month without any other benefits
Essential & Desirable Qualifications and Experience : Essential : B. Tech. / M. S.c. / M. S. in Biomedical Engineering / Medical Devices / Bioelectronics / ECE / EEE / EIE / Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineering / Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical Science with a consistently good academic record.
Desirable : Candidates with teaching / research / industrial experience will be preferred.
Max. Age : 35 Years
General Instructions
1. Candidates of Indian nationality can only apply for these posts.
2. The candidate will not be entitled to any other benefits, which are admissible to the regular employees of NIPER-Raebareli.
3. This engagement will not vest any right to claim for regular appointment in the Institute or for continued services in the Institute.
4. The Institute reserves the right to terminate this engagement any time even before the stipulated period in case of unsatisfactory performance, misconduct or any other administrative reasons/ compulsions.
5. Candidates should carefully read the minimum essential qualifications, age limits, eligibility criteria, and experience requirements stated in the advertisement before applying for the post. Since the screening will be based on the information provided by the candidate in the application submitted via email, applicants must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria for the position. If at any stage during the recruitment process it is found that the candidate has provided false or misleading information, their candidature will be summarily rejected.
6. Candidates are advised to fill out the application form carefully, as no modifications will be allowed once submitted. Only one application per post should be submitted. Multiple submissions may lead to disqualification.
7. Incomplete applications or those without relevant supporting documents (self-attested copies of Date of birth/Degrees/ Certificates/ Mark sheets/Experience Certificates/documents,etc.) will be rejected.
8. On the recommendation of the Screening/Selection Committee, the Competent Authority may relax the experience of the candidates in exceptionally meritorious cases.
9. On expiry of the period of this engagement as per the offer of engagement, the candidate will not be required to turn up for duties unless further extension is given by the Institute.
10. Fulfilment of qualifications and experience is an essential requirement. The candidate will be called for selection process / interview while progressing ahead in the stage(s) of recruitment/selection, following the standards in general. As stated, the Institute is free to set the benchmark and call only the eligible candidates for the selection process / interview. Further, NIPER Raebareli also reserves the right to NOT to fill the post advertised, in the event of exigency so decided.
11. If it is detected by the NIPER-Raebareli during the period of engagement that academic credentials/age/experience are without standing, fake or substandard or your documents are false, fabricated, manufactured, tampered with or the candidate is not eligible for the post as per the prescribed educational qualifications and experience etc. which could not be detected at the time of selection due to whatever circumstances, the engagement shall be terminated forthwith and action will be initiated against the candidate as per rules.
12. The NIPER Raebareli reserves the right to change (cancel/modify/add) any of the criteria, method of selection, positions and appointment, etc.
13. Any dispute arising out of this Advertisement including the recruitment process shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of the Courts situated at Lucknow
