Walk-in interview for the position of Project Technical Support-III for the research project titled "Comparison of Respiratory Health of Workers and Local Inhabitants with the General Population of Kashmir Valley: A Cross-Sectional Study." Eligible and interested candidates are invited to apply using the prescribed format. This project, sanctioned by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), offers a temporary engagement that will end with the project's duration.

Remuneration/ Salary per month : Rs. 28000 + 10% HRA / per month (Consolidated) [subject to the release of funds by the funding agency]
Qualifications Essential : Graduation (Nursing/Public health/ Lab-technology/ Pharmacy/ Epidemiology/ Biostatistics) + Three years’ experience in relevant subject/Field. OR Postgraduate in (Nursing/ Public-health/ Lab-technology/ Pharmacy/ Epidemiology/ Biostatistics) + one year experience in relevant subject/Field.

Desirable : Preference will be given to the candidates with :
1. Expertise in Data Analysis using R, SPSS, Stata.
2. Publications (Min-3) in indexed Journals as First or Corresponding author.
3. Scientific Writing Skills, Systematic Reviews & Meta-analysis Skills

Age Limit : Not Exceeding 35 years.
Period of engagement : 6 months

Nature of Duty : 1. Data collection from different districts of valley.
2. Data scrurinization, Data Analysis, Report writing,
Communicating, writing emails, letters, processing bills etc

General Instructions
1. The above post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project and the candidates shall not claim for regular appointments in the university.
2. The appointment is only for 6 months.
3. The salary component is subject to the release of funds by the funding agency.
4. Eligible candidates must bring all the testimonials/certificates (in original and one attested copy) at the time of interview.
5. No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates appearing for the interview.
6. Candidates will have to produce original documents relating to their qualification, experience etc. at the time of appearing in the interview.
7. The University reserves the right to defer / not to filling up of post advertised here-in above, without assigning any reason thereof.
8. The terms and conditions governing the service shall be as per the rules & regulations of university and/or funding agency (wherever applicable) with amendments from time to time.
