Post : Young Professional- II (Technical / Scientific)

Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre, Bhopal invites application for engagement of Young Professional - II (YP- II) for a short term purely on temporary contract basis.

Qualification and Experience : Post Graduates in Life Sciences*/ Pharmacy/ Statistics with at least 55% marks with 1 year of post qualification experience in the related field.
*The Term Life Sciences would include Biology, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Genetics, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Physiology, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Immunology, Toxicology, Virology, Nutrition, Entomology etc.

Consolidated emoluments of the YPs (per month) : Rs. 42,000/- per month respectively.
No House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be paid to the YPs.

Max age limit : 40 years (Age relaxation as per rules)

Role Responsibilities : The responsibilities of the Young Professional-II (Technical/Scientific) will be to support and co-ordinate Intramural Research, activities along with evidence synthesis, data analysis, conducting systematic reviews working on existing datasets related to the mandate of the Institute. Additionally professionals with wet lab work experience related to Next generation sequencing especially library preparation, sample preparation, annotation and analysis of results, wet lab work for Sanger, RT-PCR and other biology related techniques will be preferred.

Tenure :
The Selected candidate will be initially engaged for a period of one year but the period of engagement may be curtailed or extended at the discretion of the competent authority.

• Qualification and experience should be in relevant discipline/field and from a reputed institution/ organization by relevant authority. Experience shall count from the date of completion of minimum educational qualification.

• Persons already in regular time scale service under any Government Department/ Organizations are not eligible.

• Any canvassing by or on behalf of candidates or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to selection/recruitment will lead to disqualification. Submission of wrong or false information during the process of selection shall disqualify the candidature at any stage.

Procedure for Recruitment
• The Candidates must submit the application in the prescribed form and paste recent passport size photograph on it. All the documents in support of educational qualifications. • Selection will be based on performance in the interview.
