EDUCATIONAL
Master’s Degree in Technology/ Engineering in Bio Medical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Bio-Technology or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering or Polymer Engineering with 07 Years’ experience in manufacturing or testing or regulation of medical devices or in research or designing.
OR
Bachelor’s Degree in Technology/ Engineering in Bio Medical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Bio-Technology or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering or Polymer Engineering with 09 years’ experience in manufacturing or testing or regulation of medical devices or in research or designing.

Probation : One year
Duty(ies)
(i) Officer shall be responsible for the activities in respect of medical devices regulation under the provisions of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act and Medical Devices Rules, 2017. (ii) Supervise work of the officers reporting to him in the discharge of duties under Medical Devices Rules, 2017
(iii) Investigate any complaint made in writing relating to regulation of medical devices.
Head Quarter : New Delhi or anywhere in India.
Other Details : The post is General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted Non-ministerial. The post is temporary but likely to continue indefinitely.
