Applications are invited through Registered Post/Speed Post for selection/appointment to the following vacant posts of district-level contractual/agreement-based personnel under the District Health Society, Garhwa.

Post : Pharmacist

Pharmacist (RBSK)
No of posts : 9 (UR-5, SC-2, ST-1, BC-I-1)
Qualification : • Diploma in pharmacy from govt. Recognized in institute. Should have registered under Jharkhand State Pharmacy Council. 
• Computer Proficiency (MS Office) & Internet.
Salary : Rs. 12,000/-

Pharmacist (NUHM)
No of posts : 1 (UR-1)
Qualification : • Diploma in pharmacy from govt. Recognized in institute. Should have registered under Jharkhand State Pharmacy Council. 
• Computer Proficiency (MS Office) & Internet.
Salary : Rs. 10,973/-

Pharmacist (NHM-RCH)
No of posts : 2 (UR-1, SC-1)
Qualification : • Ayurvedic compounder- Diploma in Ayurvedic pharmacy from recognized institute.
• Unani compounder- Diploma in Unani pharmacy from recognized institute
• Homeopathic compounder- Diploma in Homeopathic phaimacy from recognized institute
Salary : Rs. 10,000/-

Application Fee :  For each post, applicants belonging to the General/OBC/EBC categories will have to pay a fee of Rs. 400/- (Four Hundred Rupees) and applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe categories will have to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Two Hundred Rupees) to the District Health Society, Garhwa, in the following account: Bank Name - PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK, GARHWA, Account Name - DRHS-RCH FLEXIBLE POOL, GARHWA, Account No - 4051000400091310 (IFSC - PUNB405100).  A self-attested copy of the receipt for the deposited fee must be attached with the application. Applications without the prescribed fee will not be considered.

Terms and Conditions of Contract
1. Candidates for the above posts will be selected on a contract basis for a period of one year.  Based on the evaluation of the selected candidates' performance, the contract period may be extended for one year each year, as needed. Departmental instructions regarding contract extension will be followed.
2. If the work of the candidates selected on a contract basis is not satisfactory, the appointing authority may terminate the contract without assigning any reason, by giving one month's advance notice or by paying one month's advance remuneration.
3. Candidates selected on a contract basis will be paid the remuneration determined by the State Government as per rules.  In addition, they will not be entitled to any facilities/allowances similar to those provided to permanent employees of the State Government.
4. Candidates selected on a contract basis will not claim regularization of their services in the future. The selected applicant will be required to submit an affidavit at the time of joining stating that they will not claim regular appointment in the future after being appointed on a contract/agreement basis.
5. No personal correspondence/contact regarding the appointment will be entertained.
6. All original certificates submitted by the selected candidates will be verified within one month from the issuing authority. If any attached certificate is found to be incorrect/fake, the applicant's candidature will be cancelled, and legal action may be taken against the concerned applicant as per rules.
7. The examination fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
8. Employees removed from the District Health Committee, Garhwa, will not be eligible to apply for this advertisement.


Application Process
Candidates are required to submit the following documents along with their application (as per the post and qualification). Applications will not be considered if the documents are not attached. Defective, incomplete, illegible, and unclear applications will not be considered.
1. Original application form (with two self-attested photographs).
2. Self-attested copy of the fee deposit slip.
3. Self-attested copy of the Matriculation admit card, mark sheet, and original certificate.
4. Self-attested copy of the Intermediate admit card, mark sheet, and original certificate.
5. Self-attested copy of the admit card, mark sheet, and original certificate of technical education qualification.
6. Self-attested copy of the admit card, mark sheet, and original certificate of Graduation or equivalent qualification.
7. Self-attested copy of the mark sheet and original certificate of higher education qualification. (As per the required qualification)
8. Candidates who have obtained a CGPA score in their academic qualifications must attach the CGPA Conversion Chart from the concerned institution with their application.
9. Self-attested copy of the work experience certificate. Work experience will be considered valid only if it is relevant to the desired post and qualification.
10. Self-attested copy of the computer certificate. (As per the required qualification)
11. For availing reservation benefits, it is mandatory to attach the online caste certificate and domicile certificate issued by the competent authority (self-attested copy).
12. The applicant must send the complete application in a sealed envelope via registered post/speed post to the address of the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Garhwa. The name of the applied post and the post code must be clearly mentioned in bold letters on the envelope.

Selection Process
1. Candidates will be selected based on their academic, professional, and technical scores, and, if required, on the total marks obtained in a written examination, skill test, interview, etc. (If Applicable).
2. The selection of candidates will be based on a total of 100 marks.  40 (forty) marks will be based on academic/professional qualifications [(Academics 30 (thirty) marks and Relevant higher qualification in the concerned stream of education if applicable 10 (ten) marks)] and the remaining 60 (sixty) marks will be based on a written examination/skill test, as required.
3. After submission of the application, all information will be communicated from time to time through the district website garhwa.nic.in.  This information will also be published in newspapers as needed.
4. The district-level reservation roster will be followed for all posts in the selection process.
5. The number of notified vacancies may be changed before the completion of the selection process.
6. Candidates will be selected from the merit list prepared based on the selection process, according to their merit rank and the number of vacancies. This merit list will be valid for the next one year.
7. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications in separate envelopes, clearly mentioning the post code.  Separate application fees must also be paid for each post.
8. For candidates who do not submit the CGPA chart provided by their institution, the CGPA obtained between 01 and 10 will be multiplied by 10, and the CGPA obtained between 01 and 05 will be multiplied by 20 to calculate their score.
9. The District Selection Committee reserves the right to make necessary amendments to the terms and conditions of the advertisement or to cancel the advertisement as needed.
10. The decision taken by the District Selection Committee, Garhwa, in the appointment process will be final and binding.
11. Any legal matter will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Garhwa Court.
12. The selected candidate is required to submit an affidavit stating that they have not been convicted in any criminal case.
