In 1981, Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM) established Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) to meet the growing demand for management education. Job Description
The incumbent should have Master’s degree in Management/Engineering/Pharmacy etc. and a Ph.D. from reputed institutions with 15 years of experience in an Academic Institution of which last 5  years should have been spent on compliances related to different statutory bodies like UGC, AICTE, PCI, BCI, CoA etc. or likely to be setup in future, Accrediting bodies like NBA, ABET, AACSB, NAAC etc. as a team leader. He / She should be Computer Proficient, digitally savvy and should have good communication & drafting skills as well as strong people management competencies. He / She should have strong analytical and networking skills.

He / She will have complete understanding of  the implications of norms and standards, procedures for approvals, accreditation standards and ranking benchmarks both global as well as national. He/ She  should  prepare a database for all institutions, liaise  with all bodies,  prepare strategic alignment plan against the laid down norms , standards, benchmarks, prepare documentation and presentations before and during peer visits / expert committee visits, coordinate with different departments and work closely with Deans & Directors of the Schools/Campuses. He/She Should be able to coordinate with various statutory  bodies, accreditation and ranking agencies and manage  peer team visits, ensure timely compliances, guide SVKM institutions for accreditations as and when required.  The management may assign additional responsibilities as the processes in these areas evolve.


He / She will take continuous advice and consult the Registrar for all related processes and inputs. He /She will report to VC office.
