Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) is a premier institute of science and technology established in 2008. Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a CSIR funded research project with the following details.

Title of the Project : Broadening the Sugarcane tops derived product portfolio with lignin hydrogel, Nanocellulose-Aerogel, and Yeast Oil-An Integrated strategy for harnessing the sustainable mercantile products for high value applications
Funding Agency : CSIR (ASPIRE)
Job description : To conduct research work assigned by the PI and assist in various phases of research project. Candidate with proficiency in microbial fermentation, nanomaterial synthesis and polymer research is preferrable.
Minimum educational qualification : BS 4 years programme/BPharm/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/MSc/BE/BTech/ M.Tech or equivalent degree, with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE test.
Desirable : Experience in Biomaterials synthesis, Nanotechnology, Microbial assays, and yeast fermentation

Stipend : Rs. 37,000 + HRA as applicable
Tenure of employment : 11 months (or Co-terminus with project)
Age limit : 28 Years
Age relaxation : The upper age limit is relaxable up-to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.
