Online applications are invited from eligible candidates resident of Chhattisgarh for filling the vacant posts of District Level Pharmacist Grade-2 under Directorate of Health Services, Chhattisgarh, under Public Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Chhattisgarh, through direct recruitment on the website vyapamcg.cgstate.gov.in of Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board.

Eligibility Criteria : • Minimum educational qualification required – 12th class (10+2) passed with Biology/Physics/Chemistry subject Professional Qualification - (i) Diploma in Pharmacist recognized by the Government of Chhattisgarh.
(ii) Registration of the pharmacy as a pharmacist.
Examination System and Evaluation Method:-
1. Three identical bar code stickers are attached on the main page of the question paper. Candidates must paste one bar code sticker on the OMR sheet, the second bar code sticker on the main page of the question paper and the third bar code sticker on the attendance sheet at the indicated place carefully.
2. The question paper will have 100 objective type questions, each question will carry 01 mark. Candidates will be given 02:00 hours to solve these questions. One option has to be selected from the four options of the given questions. The circle on the correct option has to be completely filled with blue/black dot pen in the answer sheet (OMR). There is a provision of negative marking for marking wrong answer or more than one answer, accordingly 1/4th of the fixed marks will be deducted. Zero marks will be awarded for those questions whose answers are not marked by the candidate.
Regarding examination fee
The candidate has to pay the prescribed examination fee through online mode while applying online. In compliance with the letter No. F 5-20/2015/Jan.Ni./42 Naya Raipur, dated 14.12.2015 of Chhattisgarh Government, Skill Development, Technical Education and Employment Science and Technology Department, Ministry, Mahanadi Bhawan, Naya Raipur, the examination fee is being charged as per the order No./2830/Esth./Vyapam/2015/Raipur, dated 17.12.2015 issued by Vyapam.

Letter No. of Chhattisgarh Government, General Administration Department, Ministry, Naya Raipur In compliance with the number RULE-8/2/2024-GAD-1 dated 21.04.2025, after the release of the examination result, the candidates who are local residents of Chhattisgarh and appear in the examination, the amount of examination fee paid by them will be refunded to the same bank account from which the candidate has paid the examination fee.
General Terms and Conditions
1. As per the instructions issued in the circular number F 13-1/2023/A.P./1-3 Nava Raipur dated 03.05.2023 of Chhattisgarh Government General Administration Department, interim permission has been granted to the state to make appointments and selection process as per the pre-determined system. Selection / appointments on the said advertised posts will be subject to the final order / decision in SLP (C) No. 19668/2022 filed in the Hon'ble Supreme Court, New Delhi and as per the final order / decision of the Hon'ble Court, there may also be a change in the number of vacancies category wise for the advertised posts.
2. It is mandatory for the applicant to be a local resident of Chhattisgarh State.
3. The provisions given in Chhattisgarh Government, Health and Family Welfare Department, Non-Clerical Paramedical and Nursing (Directorate Health Services) Class III Service Recruitment Rules, 11 June 2020 and the orders, instructions or rules issued by the Government will be applicable.
4. The mandatory educational qualifications prescribed in the recruitment rules for the posts are (1) Diploma in Drug Manufacturing (Pharmacy) registered with the Pharmacy Council and (2) Live registration with Chhattisgarh Pharmacy Council.
5. All certificates must be issued on or before the last date of the advertisement.
6. The Chief Medical and Health Officer of the district is the recruiting officer for the said post under whom the examination will be conducted by Vyapam for the advertised vacant posts. The selection and other process of recruitment on the basis of merit as per the results of the said examination and the vacant posts in the district-wise reservation will be done by the competent authority as per the departmental recruitment rules, 11 June 2020.
7. Applicants should check their eligibility themselves and apply only if they fulfill the eligibility / conditions prescribed for the advertised post. If the applicant is found ineligible at any stage during the selection process, his application form can be cancelled and his candidature can be terminated.
8. Minimum and Maximum Age Limit:- As on 01.01.2025, the age limit of the candidate should be minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years, by letter number F 3-2/2015/1-3/dated 18.01.2024 of Chhattisgarh Government General Administration Department, the period of relaxation of 05 years in the maximum age limit of 35 years given to the local residents of Chhattisgarh State is extended from 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2028 i.e. 05 years. All the relaxations payable in the maximum age limit for other special categories will remain unchanged but the maximum age limit for them including all the relaxations will not exceed 45 years.
9. The posts for SC, ST and OBC category will be determined as per the reservation rules/roster prevalent in the district by the government and the instructions issued by the General Administration Department from time to time will be applicable. Caste certificate issued by the competent authority will have to be submitted for caste.
10. For applying, it is mandatory to be alive in the Chhattisgarh Pharmacy Council of Chhattisgarh State on the last date of application for the registration examination.
11. The number of posts can be changed.
12. In the examination conducted for direct recruitment under clause (three) in sub-rule (2) of rule 11 of Chhattisgarh Government, Health and Family Welfare Department, Non-Clerical Paramedical and Nursing (Directorate of Health Services) Third Class Service Recruitment Rules 2013 by the Professional Examination Board, it will be mandatory for the candidates of unreserved category to obtain minimum 33 percent qualifying marks and for the candidates of reserved category to obtain minimum 23 percent qualifying marks. If the candidate gets less marks than the above, he/she will not be eligible for selection.
13. If any candidate has been dismissed or punished from government service earlier, he/she will not be eligible for selection. It will be mandatory to submit an affidavit in this regard.
14. Ex-servicemen will be given reservation as per rules, it will be mandatory for ex-servicemen candidates to submit certificate of competent authority.
15. Calculation of posts as per reservation percentage fixed for women in direct recruitment posts has been done on the basis of total marks, instructions of Chhattisgarh Government, General Administration Department, Ministry Circular No. F 13-2/2014/A.P./1-3, dated 14.07.2017 have been followed.
16. By letter number F 1-1/2017/1-3, dated 11 September 2023 of the Government of Chhattisgarh, General Administration Department Ministry, "Any candidate who has been convicted of any crime against women will not be eligible for appointment to any service or post, but as far as such cases are pending against a candidate in the court, the matter of his appointment will be kept pending till the final decision of the criminal case."
17. It will be mandatory for regular / contract employees working in government / semi-government institutions to submit a no objection certificate from the employer at the time of selection process and the original certificate will have to be submitted on selection.
18. Appointment orders will be issued by the competent authority on the basis of the mark list received from the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board.
19. The work of checking (verification) of the original certificates of the candidates will be done by the competent authority at the time of appointment. If the certificate is found to be faulty, the candidature/selection of the said candidate will be considered automatically cancelled.
20. The waiting list will remain valid for 01 year from the date of issue of the original selection list.
21. These appointments are completely temporary appointments. The selected candidates will be appointed on probation for 03 years.
22. If the candidates are selected for appointment and do not take charge within the time limit prescribed in the appointment order, the appointment will be considered automatically cancelled for which the candidates themselves will be responsible.
23. The selected candidates will be taken into service after police verification (character verification) and after submitting fitness certificate after health examination from the District Medical Board.
24. The attendance of the selected candidates will be taken for work only after taking the verified copy of the documents related to the essential qualifications of the selected candidates by the competent appointing authority.
25. The guidelines issued by the Government from time to time regarding appointment will be applicable.
