The St. John's Research Institute (SJRI) is a part of the St John's National Academy of Health Sciences, which is run by the CBCI Society for Medical Education. From its inception, St. John's has set before it an ideal of excellence in academic courses as well as service to society as a result of which it has truly become holistic both in its outlook and in its approach to the problems of community health.  In 2000, the Academy decided that its commitment to excellence in research required the setting up of an Institute that was dedicated to the pursuit of research and capacity development in St. John's.

Brief Description about the Project
The project aims to estimate impact of medical adherence app and manual pill organiser on medication adherence and clinical outcomes in geriatric patients on multiple medications. This will be a community-based study conducted at three sites, KEM, Vadu; AFMC, Pune and SJMC, Bengaluru. The project will evaluation of medication adherence app and pill organiser in elderly population these interventions in a factorial design RCT in three centres in approx. 700 patients.

Age Limit : 35 Years
Project Duration : 6 Months

Required :
• Availability and willingness for working from office and travel on field
• Experience in community-based studies
• Having patient communication skills in adherence to medication
• Digital literacy- ability to problem solve mobile app related issues
Preferred Language : English

Location : Bangalore
Salary : Rs. 36,400/- per month

Roles & Responsibilities
1. Undergo training program at St John’s
2. Manage the receipt, storage, handling, dispense, preparation, administration and accountability of Investigational Product (IP).
3. Temperature monitoring of IP if required.
4. Randomization of the Participant as per protocol.
5. Dispense the study IP as per protocol.
6. Maintenance of accountability of IP.
7. Maintain study related logs and forms

Skills :
1. Knowledge of clinical research and ethics especially in the domain of public health and community-based studies
2. Excellent communication skills
3. Willingness to travel to perform job duties
4. Fluency in English and Kannada. Tamil would be desirable
