Hon. Municipal Commissioner's approval No. MGC/F/6647 dated 30.05.2025, the following posts are to be filled up for Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Corporation General Hospital on purely contractual basis. Qualification : 1) The candidate must have a Diploma in Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education or a Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University.
2) The candidate should be registered with the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council.
Also, the candidates must have the following qualifications.
1) The candidate must have passed the Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent or higher examination with a minimum of 50 marks in the question paper with Marathi. (Excluding Anu No. 5)
2) The candidate must have a 'CCC' or 'O Level' or 'A Level' or 'B Level' or 'C Level' level certificate of the 'DOEACC' Society or 'M.S.C.I.T.' from the Maharashtra State Board of Higher and Technical Education. or 'GECT' certificate holder or to be exempted from submitting the said certificate, the candidate should have completed the course on computer handling/use approved by the Government from time to time. However, if the candidate does not have the said certificate at the time of appointment, he/she must pass the 'MSCIT' examination within one year from the date of appointment and submit the certificate. Age Limit: The candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 38 years.
Selection Criteria and Procedure
1. A merit list of candidates will be prepared based on the educational qualification prescribed for the post and the marks obtained in the interview. A selection list will be prepared from the candidates in the merit list.
2. Venue, date and time of interview: Will be communicated two days in advance to the email mentioned by the applicant in the application.
3. Application period : 30.06.2025 to 11.07.2025
4. Application fee : Rs. 790/- + 18% GST Rs. 143/- = Total Rs. 933/-This fee is non-refundable and will not be refunded under any circumstances.

General conditions
• The candidate's mobile number, e-mail ID and correspondence address (including pin code) should be clear and complete.
• Before giving contractual appointment to the eligible candidates, action will be taken to obtain the candidate's character and past history certificate from the concerned police station.
• Apart from the lump sum salary given to the contractual employees, no kind of dearness allowance, house rent allowance etc. will be admissible.
• Candidates should submit marriage registration certificate, gazette notification of change of name. Also, if they are not available, married female candidates can apply under their pre-marital name.
• If the candidate has been convicted by any court for moral turpitude or criminal case, and if any police investigation/court case is pending/convicted against the candidate, the candidate must provide such information.
• During the period of their contractual service, one day's service break will be given before every 90 days.
• The candidate will be allowed weekly leave and 15 casual leaves in a calendar year as per the sessions of the department assigned to him, no other leave will be allowed.
• If his work is not found satisfactory during the contractual period, the Hon. Dean, Lotimas Hospital will have the right to terminate him without giving any prior notice.
• Since his appointment is on a contractual basis, he will not be able to appear in any court.
• At the time of appointment, a contract of Rs. 500/- on a wad paper will be made from the candidate.
• He will do biometrics as per his duty hours every day, otherwise he will be considered absent. His absence without permission will be treated as Absence Without Pay (LWP).
• If the candidate has been convicted by any court for moral turpitude or criminal case, and if there is any police investigation/court case pending/convicted against the candidate, the candidate must inform about it.
• If it is found that the candidate has committed any disciplinary offence during the period of appointment of the said contractual post holder, his appointment will be cancelled immediately.
• If the selected candidate wants to resign from the post for any reason, he is required to give 15 days prior notice.
• The appointed candidate will not be entitled to any right for permanent service in the Municipal Corporation and he will not be allowed any benefits of regular service.
• He will have to work in any department of the hospital in three shifts at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Corporation General Hospital and Medical College, Shiv, Mumbai - 22.
• The candidate will have to appear for the interview at his own expense.
• If at any time after the selection process starts or after the appointment, the candidate is found to have submitted wrong information/certificates/documents or to have concealed any information, his candidature will be cancelled. Also, if an appointment has been made, his appointment will be terminated without giving any prior notice.
• The Hon'ble Dean, Lotimas Hospital reserves the right to stop the selection process at any time at any stage for administrative or other reasons.
