Applications are invited for Pharmacist in office of Chief Medical and Health Officer

Applications for recruitment of various vacant contractual posts of National Health Mission, NUHM, ICTC under District-Gariaband (CG) are invited in the prescribed format till 05.30 pm on 28/07/2025 in the office of Chief Medical and Health Officer, District-Gariaband (CG) through registered post / speed post only. Applications received after the prescribed time will not be considered.

Salary : Rs 16,500/- pm

Education Qualification : Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy (50%) & Registration in CG Pharmacy Registration Council. 

Application fee
Application fee will be payable for the application received for recruitment as mentioned below, without application fee the application will not be considered. Application fee will be payable through demand draft from nationalized bank in the name of District Health Committee, District-Gariaband (CG) as follows.

Remark: - It is mandatory to attach the original copy of DD with the application.  In case of applying for more than one advertised post, separate application fee will be payable with separate application. 


Age limit : Minimum age for contract recruitment will be 18 years and maximum 70 years for medical post and 64 years for managerial post. Base year for age calculation will be 01.01.2025. Age limit includes all relaxations given by CG Government.

General conditions and guidelines regarding recruitment
1. Selection of a person will not be ensured merely by applying. Before issuing the final selection list, the original certificates will be checked, and only if they are found correct, further action will be taken for their selection.
2. All the entries given by the candidates in the application should be correct as per the original documents. Before or after the final selection, if it is found in the document verification that the information mentioned in the application is incorrect or incomplete, then they will not be included in the upcoming final selection list. If the information is found incorrect before/after the selection, their selection will be cancelled. The final decision in this regard will be of the recruiter.
3. In case of equal marks, the priority will be decided on the basis of the date of birth of the candidates. Those candidates whose date of birth is earlier (elder in age) will be given priority.
4. It will be mandatory for the selected candidate to submit the original copies of the certificates attached with the application for verification while taking charge.  
5. The validity of the final selection list and waiting list will be valid for a minimum of one year from the date of publication or till the advertisement for the next new recruitment is issued.  
6. Contract Honorarium:- During the contract service period, a lump sum honorarium and other amount will be payable every month as per the provisioned ROP, apart from this no other type of allowance / facility will be payable.  
7. The above contract period will be till 31 March 2026 (in anticipation of the approval of the post in the ROP of the coming year 2025-26 by the government). In case the work evaluation is satisfactory, the said period can be extended. 
8. The contractual appointment can be terminated by giving one month prior notice to the selected candidate after he joins the job. Similarly, the said candidate will have to give one month prior notice before resigning, otherwise one month's salary will be deposited by him. 
9. Candidates having special reservation qualification (Divyang/Ex-Serviceman/Special Backward Tribe/Women reservation will be as per rules) will have to attach the relevant documents issued by the competent authority. Otherwise, such candidates will be included in the general category in case the certificate is not attached in the application form.
10. Candidates of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Other Backward Class category will have to submit permanent caste certificate from the competent authority.


11. The said contract post will be non-transferable and it will be mandatory to be present at the place of posting as per the appointment order. In case of not being present at the prescribed time and place of posting, the appointment of the selected candidate will be automatically cancelled.  
12. The performance appraisal of the employee appointed on contract will be done by the controlling officer.  
13. Applications of only those candidates who have the required qualification as per the post advertised in the advertisement will be accepted.  
14. Mere selection for the applied post will not confer the right to appointment. The final appointment will depend on the actual availability of vacant posts and other necessary procedures / parameters.  
15. The selected candidate will be taken into service only after submitting the health fitness certificate from the Medical Board of the District Hospital.
16. If at any stage of the selection process it is found that any candidate is exerting any kind of pressure or trying to influence the fair selection process, his/her application will be rejected and no claim in this regard will be entertained.
17. Such candidates whose service has been terminated by the National Health Mission or any other government department due to indiscipline/financial irregularity/improper behavior, irrespective of the post they held, will be kept in the category of ineligible candidates.  
18. The District Level Selection Committee will have the sole right to take the final decision on any dispute and problem arising during the recruitment process, which will be acceptable to all the applicants.  
19. All information related to claim objection, selection process, result of the process will be published from time to time on the information board of the Office of Chief Medical and Health Officer, District-Gariaband (CG) and on the district website gariaband.gov.in. Apart from this, no information will be given through any other medium.  
20. All the above appointment and selection processes will be subject to the final order of SPL (C) No. 19668/2022 of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of New Delhi.
