The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is an autonomous body of the Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy), Government of India. It is an apex body in India for the formulation, co-ordination, development and promotion of research on scientific lines in Ayurveda and Sowa-Rigpa system of medicine.

This Institute intends to engage services of the candidates on contract basis for Intra Mural Research project as per details given below.

Evaluation of Vatari Guggulu for Anti-arthritic activity through different arthritis models in experimental animals

Duration: 2 years

Qualification Essential:- M.D./ M. V.Sc / M. Pharm with specialization in Pharmacology from recognized university.

Desirable: Research Experience

Age limit: 35 years

Monthly Remuneration : Rs.28,000/- Plus HRA

Interested candidates fulfilling the essential/ desirable qualifications within the prescribed age must report at the above mentioned address for screening, along with duly filled in biodata, one recent passport size photograph and original certificates with one set of self attested relevant certificates.

The screening procedure will end by 10:45 AM. The eligible candidates short listed based on marks obtained in written test will be interviewed on the same day.

General instruction:-
1. The engagement would be purely on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project and no claim for continuance of regular appointment will be entertained.
2. The appointment is initially for period of six months, which may be extended up to the tenure of the project subject to satisfactory performance.
3. The eligibility of candidates in respect of age will be determined as on date of interview relaxable in the case of SC/ST/OBC as provided for in Govt, of India orders.
