Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP), is a Dept. of Biotechnology (Govt. of India) initiative and a not for profit organization based in Bangalore. We act as an enabler of Bioscience Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship by providing Research, Development, Training and Services in State Of The Art Technology Platforms. As a part C-CAMP's mandate of promoting entrepreneurship and innovation, C-CAMP has created and fostered an entrepreneur-friendly culture in and around academic/research environment through its involvement in seed funding schemes for Startups, Entrepreneur Mentorship program and Bio-incubation facility.

The Communications program at Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms is looking for dynamic, self-driven and proactive individuals with a keen eye and interest in outreach, public engagement, presentation and networking at the interface of science/technology with communications.

Communications Program Manager
Position – 1
In this position, the joinee will report directly to the C-CAMP Comms Lead. The joinee shall be responsible for supporting the Team in researching, creating, curating and managing content for all C-CAMP outreach efforts including text-based, graphical, A/V content. She/he will work closely with all Program Leads, as well as the Team in order to capture and present in novel ways the important happenings, data, impact of all C-CAMP’s programs in Technology Platforms, Innovation & Entrepreneurship and Translation. She/he will be mandated to increase C-CAMP footprint in public and will engage with all Comms Team members and other team leads to execute this. She/he must be able to work both on independent and collaborative ideas, have good interpersonal skills and an ability to multi-task. 

Eligibility qualifications :
MSc in life sciences or related subject, *PhD is an added bonus* with demonstrable experience in science illustration, graphic designing and animations through published/referenced work.
Desired Experience :
• Adobe Creator Suite or similar creative tools
• Scientific writing or editing
• Social media management
• Active interest in photography and video making, scripting, videography, editing etc.
• Familiarity with emerging social media tools and AI tools
The position is on Contract basis, initially for a period of six months with a full-time employment opportunity to be assessed based on performance at the end of the term.


Assistant Communications Program Manager
Position – 1
In this position, the joinee will report directly to the C-CAMP Comms Lead. She/he will work with CAMP Comms team colleagues and all program leads on content creation, curation and development for all online and offline presence of CCAMP as an organization, promotions and outreach.  She/he will be responsible for co-ordination and management of internal communications within CCAMP Teams and external agencies for seamless workflow. She/he will help with content curation and maintenance of C-CAMP website, assist with social media activity including visual, graphical and textual content, blogs etc. She/he must demonstrate originality in improving performance of social media, measure impact and propose novel initiatives to increase outreach and engagement for various programs. She/he will also help with curation of databases wherever necessary and assist with admin-related queries.

Eligibility qualifications :
MSc in life sciences or related subject, *PhD is an added bonus* with demonstrable experience in creative/technical writing, science communication and impact tracking through published/referenced work.

• Writing press releases and blogs
• Social media management
• Active interest in photography and video making, scripting, videography, editing etc.
• Familiarity with emerging social media tools, SEO and AI tools
The position is on Contract basis, initially for a period of six months with a full-time employment opportunity to be assessed based on performance at the end of the term.
