Gurugram University is planning to be one of the most prestigious University in Haryana and is likely to be a microcosm of the Indian nation, drawing students from every nook and corner of the country and from every group and stratum of society. The university has started functioning from the campus of newly constructed Rao Tula Ram College of Science and Commerce. Gurugram University (GU) will soon emerge as a global university with a wide offering of programs and courses spanning varied educational faculties. Eligibility Conditions :
a) First Class B.Pharm. With Master’s degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm.) in the appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy.
i) The candidate must possess a basic degree recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India in Pharmacy obtained from an examining authority (University) approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
ii) The candidate should be registered in the register of pharmacists maintained by a State Pharmacy Council.

4. The applicants resident of outside Haryana belongs to any reserved category shall be considered for the post advertised under UR category only. Hence, they have to apply only against the post advertised under unreserved (UR) category. The relaxation in application fee is applicable to the reserved categories of Haryana only.
5. Fee once deposited is neither transferable nor refundable or adjustable. 6. Candidates applying for multiple posts will be required to pay separate fee against each post.
7. The fee will be accepted through online mode only. Link has been given in the online Application Form on the University website.
8. In case, no suitable candidate of EWS found for post reserved for EWS, the post will be filled from UR category. Hence, the General candidate may also apply.
9. The reservation has been given as per State Govt. Reservation Policy and subject to change as per the State Govt. reservation policy/norms come into force. Change, if any, will be notified on the University website.

11. The applicant who have already applied against advt. no. T-38-48/2024 and not claimed refund of application fee, have to apply fresh and such applicant need not to pay the application fee again however he/she have to submit the copy of fee receipt deposited by him/her paid earlier against previous advt. no. T-38-48/2024, while applying online against this advertisement.
After successful submission of application form in online mode, the printout of online generated application need not to be submitted. Any type of corrigendum/addendum/amendments/notice/update etc. related to this advertisement shall be uploaded on University website only.
Important Instructions

1. The Applicant must be citizen of India and must have Hindi/Sanskrit as one of the subject at matric or higher level.

3. Appointment on these posts is on provisional basis subject to verification of Character antecedents of the appointed candidates.
4. In case of non-availability of suitable candidate under horizontal reservation category of ESM under any vertical Category of Gen/DSC/OSC/BC/EWS for which post(s) are reserved but no ESM/DESM candidate of respective category is available, the candidate from the respective vertical category will be considered for that post. Benefit of reservation of ESM/DESM will be applicable as State Govt. Instructions issued time to time.
5. Applicants are advised to ensure before applying that they are indeed eligible in terms of eligibility conditions and requisite specialization mentioned herewith, if any.
6. If any applicant wants to apply for more than one discipline, he/she is required to apply separately with prescribed fee for the same.
7. Age limit shall be minimum 18 years & maximum 55 years. No age relaxation is admissible. 8. An applicant needs to apply by filing up all the requisite fields and all the required documents will need to be uploaded/ sent along with the application form. Application not supported with required application fee, self-attested copies of certificates/ testimonials will be rejected. Incomplete applications or the applications received without the prescribed fee or received after the last date of receipt of applications will be rejected and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
9. The University will not be responsible for any error/omission/commission/ suppression of any information by the applicant knowingly/unknowingly/overtly /covertly while filling the application form and uploading the documents.
10. The qualifications for respective subject/disciplines are placed at Annexure-A. The requisite qualification and relevant experience etc. for eligibility shall be determined as on the last date of receipt of application. The criteria for short- listing and further selection are placed at Annexure B.
11. The University reserves the right of deciding the disciplines(s) as concerned /allied/relevant while scrutinizing the applications. However, the candidate if any shall have to submit the equivalency certificate of course with required course for eligibility duly issued by the concerned regulatory bodies i.e. AIU, etc.
12. No document will be accepted/ considered by the University after last date of submission of application form and no subsequent request for any change will be considered. However, the University may ask to submit any document, if so required for clarification etc. No correspondence/email/ phone will be entertained in this regard.
13. All qualifications must be attained from recognized Board/Universities/ Institutes. The applicants who have obtained qualifications from any Board/ University/Institution declared fake or not recognized by Haryana Govt./respective regulatory bodies shall not be eligible to the advertised post and no representation in this regard shall be entertained.
14. The applicants who obtained degree(s), which is/are essential for eligibility, from Singhania University (Rajasthan), EIILM University (Sikkim), Manav Bharti University (Himachal Pradesh), Vinayaka Mission University (Sikkim), Global Open University (Nagaland) and Vinayaka Mission University, Salem, Tamilnadu vide notification. D.O No. F 5- 4/2014 (CPP- I/PU) dated 05.08.2014 and D.O No. F 10-6/2011 (PS) Misc. dated 06.07.2015 have been declared ineligible for appointment in the University. However, his/her candidature will be considered for the appointment in the University if they upload the certificate as per Annexure titled “Certificate in respect to Ph.D from main campus and supervisor eligibility as per UGC norms”, in addition to Annexure titled “For the candidates who registered for PhD Programme prior to July 11, 2009” or Annexure titled “For the applicant who have registered for Ph. D. Program on or after July 11, 2009”, whichever is applicable, from concerned University. Such applicant having degrees through Distance Education Mode from above Universities will have to upload the certificate duly verified from Distance Education Council/Distance Education Bureau, New Delhi (Annexure-C).
15. In case of applicant, who is otherwise eligible, the benefit of such degree(s) towards marks/weightage/score would also be subject to the submission of certificate(s) as per Annexures mentioned in point no. 14 above.
16. As per Ministry of Human Resources Development Notifications No. 44 dated 01.03.1995 published in Gazette of India edition dated 10.06.2015, the Degree obtained through open Universities/ Distance Education Mode needs to be recognized by Distance Education Council, IGNOU (Now Distance Education Bureau, UGC). Accordingly, unless such Degrees had been recognized by IGNOU (Now Distance Education Bureau) for the period when the candidates acquired the relevant qualification, these will not be accepted for the purpose of Educational Qualification.
17. For avoiding the doubt, it is hereby clarified that If class or division is not declared at the Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree levels, an aggregate of >=60% or equivalent cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is to be considered as equivalent to first class. If a Grade Point System is adopted the CGPA will be converted into equivalent marks. Provide the relevant document of conversion of CGPA into equivalent marks have to be provided by the candidate from competent authority of concerned institution/university, along with application form. If the candidate fails to provide the proof of conversion formula, then CGPA shall be multiplied by default value 9 on a scale of 10 to obtain the percentage of marks; and in case of any other scale, the factor to be multiplied will be taken proportionate to 9 e.g. if 4-point scale is there then the CGPA will be multiplied 9x10/4. In case of integrated Programme, the %-age of marks will be considered for both the degrees covered (UG and PG) under the Programme.
18. To compute the merit points, no rounding shall be carried out. The number should be accurate to three decimal places.
19. The application form should be duly/properly filled in. The candidates will have to meet minimum API score required for the said post, wherever applicable and should calculate the API score accurately and justify their claim on their own by enclosing necessary documentary evidence in the support.
20. The applicant who have registered for Ph. D. Programme prior to July 11, 2009 and have been awarded degree, are required to produce a certificate for the fulfillment of the conditions to be certified by the Registrar or Dean Academic Affairs of the University concerned in the format appended at Annexure-D.
21. The applicant who have registered for Ph. D. Programme on or after July 11, 2009 are required to produce a certificate for the fulfillment of the provisions of the UGC (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph. D. degree) Regulations, 2009/2016 as the case may be to be issued by the Vice-Chancellor/Pro-Vice-Chancellor/Dean, Academic Affairs/Dean, (Research & Development) of the concerned Universities as per Annexure-E. The fulfillment of these conditions is to be certified by the Registrar or the Dean (Academic Affairs) of the University concerned.
22. The University reserves its right to restrict the shortlisted applicants to a reasonable number. The Selection will be made as per specified selection criteria. The structure and syllabus of the written test will be uploaded on the University website shortly. 23. In support of claim of API score (wherever applicable), Candidates must upload the first page of all publications claimed/listed alongwith proof of refereed / peer reviewed / UGC listed / UGC CARE List / SCOPUS indexed / WoS indexed Journals, Thompson Reuter Impact Factor and authenticity with a valid document in online application, failing which score will not be allotted as per the claim and the candidate may not be called for interview due to lack of the minimum requirement/ cut off as per the norms. The University will not be responsible for the same. Candidates are required to bring hard copies of all documents, publications along with a hard copy of the application form at the time of interview if called for the same. Further, an undertaking regarding originality of the submitted research work is to be given by the applicant as prescribed in the Application Form.
24. A relaxation of 5% shall be allowed at the Bachelor's as well as at the Master's level for the candidates belonging to Deprived SC /Other SC/Scheduled Tribe/Backward classes 'A' & 'B', (Non- creamy Layer) and PwBD category candidates of Haryana for the purpose of eligibility and assessing good academic record for direct recruitment. The eligibility marks of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible, based only on the qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedure.
25. A relaxation of 5% shall be provided, (from 55% to 50% of the marks) to the Ph.D Degree holders who have obtained their Master's Degree prior to 19 Sept,1991.
26. The scrutiny of applications will be done on the basis of the information filled and documents uploaded by the applicants and thus remain provisional till the same gets verified. If on verification, any information/document is found to be incorrect at any stage (even after selection) the applicant will be liable for prosecution as per rules.
27. Written test is the component of the selection criteria mandatory to qualify i.e. to secure a minimum of 50% marks (47.5% for DSC/OSC/BC/PwBD category). At the first stage, all applicants will be allowed to appear in the written test without ascertaining the eligibility. Applications of only those applicants who qualify the written test will be scrutinized for eligibility. Only eligible and test-qualified applicants will be considered for shortlisting for further process.
28. Candidates to be called for interview, especially even where specializations are mentioned, will be decided by the Screening Committee whose recommendations for one being called (or not being called) for interview shall be final. Thus, only those who possess the required specialization(s) and fulfilling the minimum eligibility conditions need to apply.
29. One’s claim for a given specialization must be supported by credible evidence in terms of research publications in peer reviewed Research Journals, and/or teaching experience in the relevant field/ specialization for at least five years to be properly certified and authenticated by the appropriate authority/Head of the institution. Applications found lacking in any such respect(s) are liable to be ignored/ rejected. Those declared ineligible will not be informed of their status being as such. Candidates are thus advised to make sure before applying that they are indeed eligible for a given post both in terms of minimum eligibility conditions and the required specialization attached therewith, if any.
30. The experience will be considered only after acquiring the essential qualification. The time taken to acquire M.Phil and/or Ph.D. As a proof of experience, the candidates are required to submit Form No. 16 for the claim period or Salary statement from the employer alongwith bank statement for the correspondence period duly certified by the employer in addition to the Experience Certificate. Further, the period of active service spent on pursuing Research Degree simultaneously with teaching assignment without taking any kind of leave, shall be counted as teaching experience for the purpose of direct recruitment. The post-doctoral experience shall be counted only if the candidate has worked on a post- doctoral fellowship of public funding agency like UGC/ICSSR etc. The Post-doctoral Experience shall be counted only for the original term provided under the relevant rules. Marks shall not be given for an extended period.
31. Any claim of teaching experience will be considered strictly as per the notified State Govt. guidelines available at Annexure-F. The certificate of experience must be submitted in accordance with the same. It will have to be supported with Form 16/Bank Statement/ITR etc.
32. The post-doctoral experience shall be counted only if the candidate has worked on a post- doctoral fellowship of some government funded agency like UGC/ICSSR etc. Such Experience shall be counted only for the original term provided under the relevant rules.
33. The candidate in regular appointment should apply through proper channel and upload “No Objection Certificate” signed by his/ her employer. However, if a candidate is not able to upload the NOC while submitting the application, he/she has to produce the same at the time of documents verification to the committee as and when he/she called by the University. Those who do not apply through proper channel or do not submit the NOC in original at the time of documents verifications he/she shall not be considered for any benefit of past employment, if selected.

35. The marks scored in written test will be made available to the candidates individually only through applicant login on web portal. Objections if any will be invited by displaying of question paper and key on the University website. In case of any inadvertent/ technical/clerical error, the University reserves right to correct the result.
