Job Description:
• Develop a thorough understanding of technology, products, applications, and performance requirements in the focus market segments
• Study specific technical products, patents and technologies of key customers in the segment to supplement knowledge of current practices and market trends
• Develop strong relationships with key personnel at customer technical departments to better  understand unmet customer needs and market dynamics; participate in customer trials and product testing as necessary
• Develop Lubrizol’s basis for differentiation and competitive advantage in focus segments
• Write innovation projects to address unmet needs around new products, components and/or applications and that will deliver unique or differentiated solutions valued by customers
• Identify new products/therapies where Lubrizol can get success in meeting unmet needs, prepare business cases and present to management for approval
• Maintain opportunity database and projects pipeline to manage execution of key opportunities and projects
• Work closely with technical teams to meet pipeline project milestones
• Report on progress of development projects during innovation reviews as required
• Develop selling cases to  communicate value proposition of projects and products with customers
• Support the preparation of promotional and technical material for the market (brochures, technical articles, presentations, etc.)

Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline from an accredited university or Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering preferred
• MBA in marketing preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in medical devices industry in marketing or sales
• Exposure to medical devices end markets, exposure to new product development
• Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally
• Demonstrated abilities and successes in implementing new product, solution, technology and value selling programs
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver professional presentations
