Job Description:
Project responsibilities

  • Provide direction to the team on building forecasting models, developing specific forecasting tools and generating reports supporting client’s growth strategy.
  • Provide direction to the team on generating reports on company/competitor profiles, clinical trial mapping/analysis, product benchmarking, and licensing support.
  • Provide direction to the team on secondary data analytics projects focusing on market assessment, situation analysis, and standard secondary data reports.

Client Management


  • Understand client needs and articulate solutions.
  • Responsible for ensuring quality and managing timeliness for all project deliveries.
  • Responsible for Program management for all project deliveries.
  • Responsible for overall client interaction and satisfaction for all projects.

Training and Development

  • Responsible for mentoring the team to develop skills in forecasting and marketing analytics along with the functional head

Sales Support


  • Understands client requirements and generate business opportunities leveraging existing Scientific & Competitive Intelligence expertise and offerings

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Marketing or Statistics required. MBA or a Masters degree in Public Healthcare or Epidemiology is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience in multiple therapeutic areas including CV, CNS, Infectious diseases, and Oncology in the US and major EU markets.
  • Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical sales data such as IMS audits, and other secondary sources. 5+ years of experience in analyzing these data and generating actionable reports.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in developing sales and patient based pharmaceutical forecasting models, hands on experience in working with multiple business teams in developing assumptions for forecasting is a must.
  • Must be able to develop and implement models with limited guidance.
  • Experience in pulling together multiple data sources such as primary market research, secondary data and syndicated reports to generate market assessments and evaluating product potential for licensing deals is highly desirable.
  • Understanding and experience in Competitive Intelligence.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with team on performance by training and positive reinforcement is highly desirable.
